How many of you are watching this new show? Three eps have been aired so far and I think it's an extremely well made show. I love the sea monsters so far. My first impression was that they were a mix of Leplurodon and Basilasaurus. Imagine my surprise when in the last episode them mentioned it was 10% Leplurodon. Woo another score for Des. If it's also Basilasaurus I'll freak. I think it looks like that because of the hind legs and tail.

Well the show is pretty scientific. I like the lead female. She's not some overbearing feminist nazi. She's just a woman trying to do her job and research and is caught in the middle of this. The government cover up is annoying and well so far they are the bad guys. I also fill sorry for the guy who lost his brother and his wife won't believe him and is not supportive at all. And the whole aspect with the kids is great. They've got a baby and are secretly raising it.

It's amazing how big the adults are. I think they said 200 feet. There are some great effects in this too. Well if you watch this, let's discuss the show and try to guess what might happen.

Alright folks. I know all you kaiju fans have got to be watching this new awsome show. I loved tonight's ep. Things are getting deep for our three main characters.
Regge, has been arrested and his wife thinks he's cheating on her. She's not a good wife and very unsupportive.
Laura tagged one of the creatures and is tracking it. Too bad the video she took got ruinned by the electrical pulse. I knew that would happen! The government sent the coast guard out there to force him to pulse so all the video footage would be ruinned. Grrrr! :mad:
And poor Miles! His mother and sister are b@##@s. I'm glad Nimrod ate that girl's dog. She was a b@#%# too. I wonder how long before he goes on the run. These characters are all great. You really get concerned about them.

I don't like the Government guy and the Russian scientist though he seems to be coming around since he's starting to question the government's tactics. It would be cool if he came to the right side though. That could happen. Laura needs to quit talking to him and just bring all her evidence to the press before she gets in big trouble.

So what do you guys think? What do you think will happen? Someone's supposed to die in the next ep. EEP! I hope it's not Laura or Miles.

...Wow.

Watched my first episode last night, and I must say that I am VERY impressed. The story was top-notch, the characters were actually interesting and believable (especially Miles, who I felt very sorry for), and the way they built that submersible was just awesome. Oh, and the dialogue was very smart as well ("adopt a personality", lol).

Okay, I stop raving now...

No you don't have to stop. That's what this thread is for. You've got to catch up on the first five eps or so. Mile's mother is so nasty as is his sister though in this ep they seem to be trying to turn her around. Sorry I refuse to forgive her. The father is the only one that kinda tried to understand. Poor Nim! I hope he comes back. If he did Miles could hide him away now at the aquarium. That's awsome they found empty eggs. That scene was great since Miles already knew what they were.

OMG and Laura and Redge are trapped at the bottom of the ocean and falling deeper into one of the holes. Redge is confident that this is what's supposed to happen since he keeps getting those visions. I worry about the increasing pressure. I wonder if once they get there if there will be air in the hole. And how will they get back to the surface? :confused: I can't wait until next week!! Oh and now the Agent Lee is a Laura's friend's house. I hope he doesn't do anything to her son.
