Real Life Delinquent Road Hazards
No, I'm not talking about the movie. I am talking about reckless drivers. In real life. Nothing to do with the movie the reason why I posted it here.

Don't you just hate idiot drivers? =\

Of course!
I'm a tuner myself, but I drive normally.
Riding a tuner car doesn't mean you have to show it off by being a delinquent. Instead, use it for good use, enter a tuner convention!

I hate modified cars AND reckless drivers. They're a bunch of idiots that are going to get themselves killed someday. :lurk:

It's amazing how many people are allowed to drive that shouldn't be. I had a friend (notice I said HAD) that was wreckless. I told him I'd never ride with him again. If he wanted to kill himself fine but don't kill anyone else. He would do stupid stuff like peel out of the driveway or parking lot if he was mad. If you're mad don't drive!!! That's almost as bad as drinking and driving because you aren't thinking straight. People also tend to lose their brains in the rain. They don't understand that in the rain you shouldn't speed because you'll skid when you slam on the breaks. In rain one should drive slower than the speed limit.

Re: Real Life Delinquent Road Hazards
I agree. I tend to notice it a lot on dual carriadeways, where people seem to tailgate more (maybe it's just me) in the rain, snow/ice (& black ice) and the fog (if people put their rear foglights on enough then they wouldn't have the next person almost in their boot).

Getting your front garden wall knocked down more than twice in a space of a few years by someone with no insurance makes irretated even more.

Here, it's supposed to be illegal to drive whilst using a mobile phone, but the amounts of people who still do it and never get caught is ridiculous. I've seen a couple of near misses due to people not having full controll of the car and it's worse here because as you know with the gear stick.

Discurtious drivers irretate me also. An example is at one of our bus stations cars are allowed around the back for drop offs and pick ups and sometimes when I am in a hurry to get a bus which is due to leave and I either miss or almost miss it because a driver wont let me cross .

One thing I have noticed are the amounts of drivers who appear to be colour blind and I almost get hit occasionally when crossing.

One thing that sort of makes me laugh is that there are a couple of people I know (well more family members) who have had more bumps than you could imagine. The thing about them that makes me laugh is that none of the accidents are 'their' fault. What I can't figure out though is that if it's never their fault than how come they keep having those bumps and scrapes, whilst others never hardly have an accident like my dad, unless someone runs into them through not paying attention or carelessness. Surely they must be doing something wrong.

I have nothing wrong with the ones who have the modified cars who just congrigate in the carparks late at nights (the cruisers) just to compare their cars, stereo system, speakers. One thing I don't understand is those people (usually teenage boys about 17-early 20s) that go around and around round abouts at nighttime and speed around in the carparks (I think you know the one's I mean, the boy racers).

My parents says that most of the taxi and jeepney drivers are reckless. They also don't like people who turn without using signal lights.

Re: Real Life Delinquent Road Hazards
I think my dad would agree with you about taxi drivers. He thinks that they have some rule that makes them exempt to the highway code them and drivers for certain companies. And bus drivers. There used to be a rule (well there still is) where bus drivers were supposed to always be given the right of way if pulling out or away from a stop, but a lot of people don't let them in anymore since more and more decided that it's better to push their way in, not give the thankyou hand signal and just be discourtious to other motorists. But it is not much different when you are a passenger and say thankyou and are not even acknowleged. Maybe it's just the town I live in where they are that way. I've even had a couple of bus drivers quite rude to me and feel like :tomato: about them. But I don't argue as that sometime makes things worse and then they also have their 'friends'.

As for people not signalling, I think I've mentioned about almost being hit a few times by people who don't indicate they are turning and also the 'colour blind' ones who don't stop on the red light at crossings.

I just got back from a long car drive. Most of your highways are set to 55mph. I think that converts to close to 90kmph. Well I don't go more than five above that and I've never had problems but I had people passing me that must have been going 70 or 80. Can't they read? Can't they get up early enough to be on time? Why speed? Sometimes when I see traffic violations I really wish I was a cop. Man I'd make a lot of people sorry.

I'm still learning to drive, but I know there's a lot of *chrsyler* drivers out there. I hate when someone's on my bumper. I get all nervous.

This is sort of a PA thing, but we always say people from New Jersey drive bad. (No offense to anyone from NJ, of course.)

The national speedlimits on dual carriageways and motorways here (unless it's lower due to an accident blackspot with speed cameras usually) is 70mph and even if you do 80 and even 90 people still pass you as if you're travelling at turtle pace. It's annoying when you're passing someone like a lorry driver on the outside lane and even going at 80 you still find someone right on your bumper.

Yeah, like yesterday I saw a really bad accident. One car scraped the side of another car and the whole front of the other car was smashed. And then my uncle said he saw another bad one where a car crashed into a motorcycle with the guy still on the motorcycle.
