| Another Spongebob movie? |
People have been saying that since the Spongebob movie is continuing to increase in movie sales even though the sales have quieted down expect for the DVD/VHS sales which were released in the United States last week (March 1), but worldwide too. Stephen Hillenburg should make another Spongebob movie. Spongebob is about to surpass the Rugrats Movie which also made over 100 million worldwide. Spongebob has made over 85 million in US sales alone including the 40-50 million worldwide and is still increasing as other countries continue to release the movie.
However, the last time Stephen talked about the movie was a little bit after the movie came out. Stephen said that he had no plans at this time to make another movie. Throughout the winter the movie is making more money. As more money was being earned in the movie, people keep talking again and again.
In my opinion, Stephen does not want to make a new movie at this time within the next two years. Stephen has alot of catching up to do in making Spongebob episodes. If he decided to make a new movie, then we would probably see another production halt thus Nickelodeon start using their 'conservative' tatics to air the Spongebob episodes until the movie came out which would bored us to death...again.
In conclusion, Stephen Hillenburg at the present time does not want to make another movie at this time from the reports of the media in November. However, at this time he could change his opinion. He should definitly watch the amount of movie the Spongebob movie is earning and then decide once again. If he decides to make another movie, he should say that the movie will not be produced immediatly and that it will be in the drawing board. Once he says that, Stephen should at least make 20-40 episodes. However, the decison should be up to him and be season by season. I mean we just don't know when Spongebob could end. Anyways the decison is up to you, Stephen.
