I remember flipping through the channels and finding the scene in "Patty Hype" where an angry Spongebob walks up to Patrick and goes,

"Patrick, are you mad, too?"

"Yeah"

"What's the matter?"

"Can't see my forehead."

I almost fell off of the futon laughing. That was so hilarious to me, as the style instantly reminded me of Ren N Stimpy. I have been an active fan to this day!

My first episode,like most people,was the first episode that aired after the KCA.When I first heard the name Spongebob Squarepants,I was like "HUUUUUUUHHHHHHH?Maybe it's some sponge that wears pants.Nick's really their touch." Well I like so many others saw the first ever aired ep of Spongebob... back then though I was a total school boyish serious kinda guy.... mostly because the cartoon i liked so much was being canned by Nick (The Angry Beavers). But around the of 7th grade I started to change into a nicer more social guy(i had good friends) and started to find the angry beavers again... but instead i found Spongebob.. it was the Bubble Stand and I felt in love!!!

After that the new eps of Spongebob kept coming and I was loving it. Around the 8th grade (1 year ago) Spongebob starting to be very popular... And I knew they were just posors (as I was the first one wearing Spongebob gear). After that I started feeling how good I had back then when Cartoon Network started out... shows like Dexter and Johny Bravo are really funny shows. Right now Nick IS the #1 kids network thanks to Spongebob.

Sorry If im just rambling I really do love cartoons. I really don't like when people say Spongebob is the only cartoon worth watching on Nick...
What about Invader Zim... Hey Arnold and The Fairly Oddparents!! What about in Cartoon Network, when everyone was talking about the Rugrats Cartoon Network has the place for real comedy cartoons.

I agree with Squidwardd...I personally grew up with Nickelodeon. It was about the only channel I ever watched and I could watch every show on the channel almost. Now the quality has just well, :flush:

you know what I mean...and there is hardly anything worth watching anymore. Without SB, Nick would be dead to me now........

Hmmm...I think my first one was "Help Wanted." It was on in like the middle of the afternoon, and I was off on vacation at Grandpa's house. I was like, weeeird. This is a weird show. And not to mention freezing my butt off because in order to keep any other rooms of Grandpa's house almost cool (think Texas in July), you have to turn up the air conditioner really high and it makes the living room freezing cold. Blecch.

I haven't really had my mind in the potty when watching SBSP except for when you can so obviously tell that they're saying the "f-word" in "Sailor Mouth." That's definitely one of my favorite episodes. Oops, broke a *dolphin noise* nail on the keyboard...grrrr...

"Help Wanted" rocks. First one I saw and still one of the best. The new ones just don't seem as quirky.

lol, I'm not trying to make waves here. Think about the karate episode. Particularly when Spongebob and Sandy are in the park and Spongebob says, "Do you think Mr. Crabs ever does karate?" After I heard that, the rest of the episode changed it's meaning.

It's also a children's show written by grown men. Refer to the Sailor Mouth episode.:sponge:

It's so simple I shouldn't even have to, but then there those like you that just dont get it so here we go. He asked Sandy if Mr. Krabs (with a K) ever does karate because to them it's a fun game where they beat each other up with gloves. If Mr. Krabs had ever TIRED it he might see how fun it is and not forbid him to play. How the Hell you got a sexual reference out of that is beyond me and perhaps you shouldn't be watching kids shows, stick to your "adult" programming that is more ahem, at your level. And your reference to the episode Sailor Mouth is way off. Again, spongebob is very child like. How many times has it happened when a kid discovers a swear word and starts using it not knowing what it is, so an adult has to reprimand him. It happens all the time. It's on the Sea Stories DVD. We've found through lots of painstaking research ( :lol:

Oh!!!!! This is difficult!!! I can't remember it!!!!! I remember the Nickelodeon Magazine in 1999 that announced Spongebob Squarepants the newest nicktoon, and remebering I thought it looked stupid!!!!! SORRY EVERYBODY! :P There was no way to know then! :P

Anyway, if I think real hard I remember in 1999 catching Tea in the Treedome!!!! That is my oldest memory!! I think it was the first one I ever saw! I only caught the second half of the episode so I only saw Tea at the Treedome, and not the Reef Blowers, and Help Wanted!!! Ya know, I probably caught that when it was the only episode they had available to show on Nickelodeon!!! So I guess I go way back!

Well, I recall my first episode ever seen was SUPPOSED to be the first episode of SpongeBob Sqaurepants to air on Nickelodeon (or however it's spelled). That one was Help Wanted/Reef Blower/Tea At The Treedome. I'll never forget that face SpongeBob had when he said those quotes...

^^^Yay! That one has so many good SBSP quotes in it. Except for in "Reef Blower," where I think there's only one: "You."

They showed that the other day and I went a little nuts because it's one of my favorites and my first SBSP episode, too. Good thing nobody was watching it with me, because I was spitting out the words every now and then because I can be really annoying like that.

Boy, do I remember my first! I got introduced a bit later in the series, so my first was "Rock Bottom". Literally -- somehow, I missed "Aargh" the first few times they played it. "Squeaky Boots" was my second showing, then the "Help Wanted" series was my third. I've been watching it regularly ever since.

It still remains one of my favorites. It's so twisted. :freak1:

My first one was Squid's Day Off, I still remember Mr. Krab's quote, "get away from them you barbarian!" Then he started washing the dimes and trying to "comfort" them. Right off the bat I knew this guy was probably obsessed with money.

I still cant remember the first episode i watched! I think i missed the start tittle of it! I think it had Sandy flyin' or sumin' n then she crashes or sumin' like that and she just goes 'medic!' i think it was spongebob i saw that on im pretty sure it was! Well that was one of my first episodes i wanna' know what its called though!

Bubble Blowers/ Mussle Pants...the morning after the showed premired. But I was never hooked like I was on Invader Zim. I'm just a person who likes a great cartoon show.

Mine was Jellyfish Jam. Seeing Spongebob rock out to Technopop with a Jellyfish is HILARIOUS!!!

My daughter's first episode was Gary Takes a Bath. In fact, she loves Gary so much partly because of all the antics he put Spongebob through... :gary:

I think the first episode I saw all the way through was the "Ripped Pants" one. It's kind of hard to pinpont which one when I'd catch the kids I babysat watching the last few minutes of the show.

I think that the first episode I ever watched was Pressure (I believe I just caught the end of it). On my remote there's a button you press where you find out info on a program/episode listed on the tvguide. I thought what's this program as I keep seeing it listed and what's it about. I pressed the button, read the description and thought that sounds interesting (something in common with me) and so I put it on they were in the Krusty Krab and watched to the end. I don't think that I instantly loved the show but it quickly grew on me. I'm not sure if Pressure was the first episode I saw or if Krusty Love was.
