First question: How long have you been roleplaying? (teehee, it's got nothing to do with this, but i'm just interested =P) Second: Hmm, how to word it.... I've noticed you've used Batogolian in your post. Though now I realise that the way I made my post made it awkward to make an in character reply (well, for me it would have been). Is this why Batogolian was used in your post? I'm just curious.

I've been role playing for seven years. I sure as heck am not new to this. This board used to be on ezboard back in 1999 and now I have moved it here. Why are you so upset about me using her? She was used because she was in the story. Anyone that joins will be used. Don't want to be left out now. This is the proper way to RP. That's how you're supposed to do it. It advances the story. Unless I totally do something out of character then there shouldn't be a problem and like the rules said no one will kill your characters without persmission. Just wait until the fighting starts. That's when it gets real fun. I think I'll post you an old RP I did back in the day that turned out great between a friend of mine and myself.
Anomalo only was using his own character by the same name but you'll notice he used all of mine and I used his. This turned out to be a beautiful fight. Anomalo Listen!! Anomalo's eyes twitched back and forth, before going an icy blue, as opposed to their normal glossy black. then, from his circular mouth, an ice beam shot out, striking Destroyah on the wrists. and thus sealing her to the desk. "Now, Madame, Listen to what your own progeny was going to say. or I will freeze more of you. I understand cold is not one of your favorite things" Destroyah turned to the best of her ability to her son, and growled, "Okay, spill it. " Cancer eyed her fearfully, and said, "Well, I was cleaning an oven as punishment, and a Gigan stuffed me in and turned up the heat. and I just now found out that our species hates his species instinctively. " Des Gen 2: It's STILL your fault!!! Des's eyes went wide as she saw her claws freeze to the desk. She looked up at Anomalo with a look of surprise on her face. That look quickly faded to hate. Des screamed and jerked her arms up, bringing the desk with them. She did hate the cold and she would show this fiend that. She flung them forward over her head. The ice chunks that held her in place broke and the desk flew at Anomalo. He just barely ducked to the left as the piece of furniture hit the wall behind him and splintered into a thousand pieces. "I don't care!" She continued to yell. "How dare you send a CHILD to do your work. How much did you pay that poor Gigan?" Cancer cowered in a corner of the office. He of course wanted his mom to win, but this was scary. Des was hunched over, claws balled into fists, teeth bared and steaming. She was literally steaming. Anomalo clacked his pincers and rushed her. Des was taken by his speed. She did not expect something as large as him to move so fast. He slammed into her chest holding her with one claw, and pinned her against the wall craning her neck back with his other hand. Des just looked up in shock, and could not believe how quickly he had restrained her. His disk shaped mouth opened and closed like the shutter of a camera just inches from her snout. Des began to get nervous. She struggled, but he held her down. "Now madame, are you going to listen to me?" He looked at her face and into her eyes. Not now! That feeling was coming over him again, he had to control it. In those few seconds he though of it, Des felt his grip loosen slightly. He drifted and lost control. A second was all she needed. Anomalo lurched forward as a blinding force hit him in the back. Des's tail pincer had stabbed through his plates, and she used it to pull him off of her. He growled as blood dripped from his mouth. There was room to open her wings, and Des jumped straight into the air upper cutting the anomalocarid with her left wing. He fell backwards and landed on the still remaining writing board of his desk, cracking it in half and adding more torment to his already aching back. The large crab stepped forward now that her nemesis was down. With both claws she grabbed him by the shoulders and hurled him through his door. He landed face first on the reception desk in the empty front office, yet Des wasn't through with him. She lifted him by his back plates and launched him through the window that looked out into the main hall. Anomalo rolled onto the floor, shards of glass raining around him. By this time, Cancer had already run out, and joined Stratofall and Gaiga. The three kids huddled together and watched from a safer distance. Anomalo's vision focused in and out. Everything hurt. Painfully he swiveled his neck up and saw Des descending on him like a demon in the night. To be continued.... Anomalo Blood lust Anomalo charged Destroyah, clamping his circular mouth into Des's neck, just below her chin. he snapped his long mandibles around her neck, driving the toothy spurs into her armored flesh. "Oof! Get the hell of me, you, you, Shrimp-faced sucker!" Des screamed. she whipped her tail around, putting the claw around Anomalo's neck, and squeezed the claw-like end. "Ack! My...neck...choking..." Anomalo cried out. he wrapped one long, dextrous hand around her shoulder horn, and pulled. hard. SNAP! the horn broke off in the Princepal's hand. yellowish green blood flowed out of the jagged stump where the horn had been. Anomalo then juggled it to his other hand, and drove the point into Des's flower-shaped chest. or rather, he tried to. it bounced back off her armored plates, but he kept trying. he rammed it again and again into her chest, until blood started to ooze out from between the plates. Des was weakening. slightly. she tightened her grip on Anomalo's neck, and started to shunt energy to her tailtip. it started to glow. heat started to seep through Anomalo's plating, until his leathery flesh underneath started to singe. eventually, one of them was going to give out...maybe die. I'm not gonna post the whole thing but we beat each other up really badly. This fight ended in a draw though the characters didn't know it because they passed out. Also if you'd like to see probably the best RP that has been on the Square Board check This thread out. Unfortunately this one never finished but you can see just how well an RP can go when played like this.

OOC: Ah, I see. Well, i've been used to the 'no powerplaying' and 'no godmoding' format. I guess it must depend on the subject. But I've been on roleplay boards of all subjects. Sorry for causing such a stir. Though that fight really was gripping, I guess i'll just have to get used to this new style of roleplay one way or another.
I'll not be adding your characters to my posts until I get settled to this format. Until then. We should get roleplaying then =) *feels awkward and guilty*

Godmodding. I hate that word and how it gets used incorrectly. Godmodding or powerplaying is when you dish out attacks and never take any in return, or worse you claim to kill characters without permission. Now that's just plain wrong. Well I think because there was confusion I'm gonna update the FAQ/rules for this forum a little. And yeah go ahead and post, it's your move. I've been talking to some other people and I'm hoping that more will join in soon. I think you getting used to this style for a while is fine, though I don't know how people can RP any other way with such restrictions. But don't be afraid to use my characters after a while. You'll get used to them. This way is so much more fun as you saw. Oh man, that fight with Destroyah and Anomalo while the three kids watched was one of the best RP's I've been in. I'm glad you liked it. One day I'll post all of these on my site.

OK folks. I think this thread is a good place to describe your kaiju and their powers or potential powers so people know how to use them correctly. I'll start by doing the posse first.
Stratofall POWERS - Corona beam - Levitation - limited. He can lift himself but with great effort. Small objects are easier for him and the heavier they are the more difficult it is for him. - Shockwave - Not Available Yet (NAY) - Black Holes - He'll be discovering this power soon, but it's not a powerful one. He mostly uses them as portals for himself or for objects. - Crystal projectiles - He can form crystals but he can't control them with his mind or make them fly so he just throws them. - telepathy- This is one of his most advanced powers. He can sneak into people's thoughts without them knowing it and read what they are thinking. The exception is robots because they don't have true minds. -shield- fair amount of control WEAKNESS Mostly his lack of undeveloped powers. Using his corona beam too much will cause him to become weak. Info: Because Stratofall only has about half of his powers he resorts more to plain old brawling. His punches, kicks and tail attacks are very powerful and can easily knock others out. Cancer POWERS - Oxygen destroying ray - NAY - Oxygen destroying ability - Limited control - Shockwave - NAY - Aggregate forms- NAY - Flight - very well developed - Energy Horn - NAY WEAKNESS extremes in temperature especially cold. Info: Cancer can use even fewer powers than Stratofall so he too is mostly a brawler. His oxygen destroying ability happens when he is angry and by then is usually out of his control. Lucky for him his friends are space creatures which don't need oxygen. Unlike his mother when she was young Cancer is a very good flyer. Gaiga POWERS - Buzzsaw - Gaiga is in complete control of her saw. - Eyebeam - Can be used but it is weak still - Jet Propulsion - She has good control of her jets and can also hover apart from fly. WEAKNESS She's not as durable in a fist fight as the other two. Info: Gaiga is fast and a vicious fighter. She isn't friendly but is loyal to the few friends she does have. She's in good control of most of her abilities and very smart because she's a machine.

X (based on Monster X from Godzilla Final Wars)
Powers: -Gravity beams from the eyes. Yes -Telikenesis. Yes, he has become very skilled in using this ability. He can levitate at will and move objects with his mind as long as their not to big. -Healing factor. Yes, thanks to the Godzilla cells that were used when he was created he can automaticly repair and regenerate damaged cells. -Telepathy. No, but he can keep people with that ability out of his head. -Kaiser Power. No, not yet. When he is finally ready to claim the title of "Kaiser" he will recieve the mystical power that comes with the title. The legends says that it is almost infinite. At a very young age, X has mastered many of his powers and he has also been masterly trained in hand to hand combat. X's A.I "M.A.I" can help him on the field as she can send very helpfull information directly into his brain. Weakneses: Since he's often underrestimating his opponents he tend to let his guard down, wich might prove fatal in battle. Info: The scattered people of Planet X, the Xians, needed a strong ruler , a "Kaiser", to lead the people. So they used their highly advanced technology to create an unbeatable champion, using the DNA from some of the strongest monsters in the universe. All of this has made X very reckless and arrogant, so before he can claim his throne he has to mature and become a better leader and commander. In order to do so he has been asigned to Kaiju Elementary on Earth as an exchange student. The Council hopes that the change of environment might be good for their future Kaiser. Well that remains to be seen... |

I'll try my best at describing his abilities. x_X
Voltrax POWERS - lightning blast - limited control, medium strength, he can release a lightning bolt from his hands, he generally uses this to zap other kaiju that are in his way. - static shock - weak strength but it can still be quite painful, he can grab a hold of a kaiju and give them an electrical shock. - healing and regeneration - NAY, he can heal himself or regenerate body parts as well as use electrical energy to accelerate the process. - electrical form - NAY, a rather nifty ability that allows him to become pure electrical energy that can travel through wires, computer systems, robots, and cyborgs causing major malfunction or damage to them. - electricity absorption - he can absorb any form of electricity and store it in his body as a backup resource. - electrical storm - NAY, he can build up a massive amount of electrical energy in his body and release electrical bolts in all directions kinda like a shockwave, hitting anything that is within a certain distance near him yet it is also of long range, the closer an opponent is the more damage they receive. - lightning beam - he can fire a beam of lightning from his mouth. - electromagnetic pulse - NAY, he can release a very powerful pulse that will disable anything that is computer controled, cyborgs, and robots. WEAKNESS Voltrax’s major weakness is water. It can short circuit all of his electrical abilities which results into him using good old physical kaiju combat. Other from water being his weakness, he hasn’t quite yet mastered all of his abilities. Info: Voltrax is usually a loner who tends to be quiet, and keep to himself. This has resulted in him not having many friends, but he does have a caring side to him that he usually doesn’t like to show. He tends to look like a very unpleasant kaiju but is actually quite friendly once someone gets to know him. Voltrax also doesn’t like to fight much preferring to be left alone by the other kaiju but if provoked into a fight, he will defend himself to the bitter end. |

Very cool guys. I look forward to Stratofall getting frustrated when he tries to read X's mind and can't. OOooh I like the idea of Voltrax being able to mess up computers and robots. Wow he could really hurt Gaiga. That would be a cool fight.
If you guys have drawings feel free to post them here or in the art forum. I posted my main three in the actual thread. Keep up the good work. Oh Chaos, any Weaknesses for X? I like how he has MAI. Very unique. No other kaiju I know is like that.

O.o Well I don't think he would do a lot of damage to Gaiga since she's only half cyborg right? He would do the severe damage to something like MechaGodzilla or Moguera. I'm not sure. XP

Wow, interesting abilities! XD I can't really put up Kittashe's, but soon she will get her collar for her elemental abilities. Youse'll have to help her choose! Or i'm going to make her into the one I feel will cause a severe stir.
All i'll say is that if you side with Blaze or Aqua, two Kaju will have serious problems. Storm is too boring, and we already have an electrical Kaiju so it doesn't give a better unique quality to her. Terra...well...not as interesting as my favourite, which is Umbral n.n I shall try to get the collar issue involved, or Kittashe will end up being a rather big drag...

Once the battle clears up, I'll be entering the fray with my creepy alien thing. Or better yet I'll let somebody come to him. I think it would be interesting if the posse met up with him in the ventilation shaft during some prank or whatnot, though anyone will do.
Oh yeah... Becurn-seijin (Alien Becurn) POWERS: -Energy Drain: So far, the only funcitioning "weapon" on his body is a dangling tube, meant for absorbing a target's energy. The energy travels through the tube and into Becurn's body. --Other powers unknown-- Weaknesses: Psychological unstability can perhaps be used to one's advantage. And he can only get energy from a non-cyborg kaiju. Info: A very mysterious and reclusive alien hiding out in the school's ventilation shafts. He appears to be schziophrenic, going from calm to beserk in an instant. Thus, he is highly unstable. Becurn's role is unknown, though his need for energy might hold some clues...

Ok here's the site with a pic and short descritiption of Principal Anomalo. He's my character now as my friend has given him completely over to me. I'm not that good with comedy but I'll try to play him in character as best I can.
