Was going to have a jacket potato or two for dinner for a change. I went to select my potato or two from the better bag we have and every single one seems soft and squidgy and they're covered in shoots with roots. Now the other bag of potatoes all the potatoes are covered in long plant looking shoots, minus the leaves. Out of the two bags is like we whole potato patch in two big bags in our kitchen

I've never grown any root crops so that sounds neat.

We've (well my mum has) grown potatoes in pots which we've bought to cook a few times when they've got shoots (probably King Edward, I'm not sure) and they've come up ok. Some even taste quite nice, sometimes better than the bought ones
