What are you asking for? Need help with getting 1200 rpm full auto? (Zore)?. How about HPS bulk (Radical). What else can I help you with? Don't slam the old timer's, they've been there long before you! Let's not leave out olpistolpacker or postmaster! Not to put you down, but just trying to keep up the tradition and keep in mind we're all human ( well, most of us ). Later, Kerry |

GI_Joe...This forum is all about information. The Drozd has been around for several years now and there is some pertinent info in the old posts. Especially for some of the new guys like yourself. If you're not happy with people bringing them back up, then go elsewhere. If you think you know everything already, then start sharing the info you think you know. No one wants to hear you WHINE about old posts. When someone makes a comment on an old post, that makes it a NEW post. You've complained about this in more than one thread and now you've started a completely new one about it. Get over it already. Again... if you don't like it, GO ELSEWHERE AND QUIT WHINING! |

discreet unrestricted conversation about the Drozd, related and even personal and public discussion. All questions even the same ones repeated a hundered times deserve a friendly 101th response with help. Digging up the past is a great way to reminisce and even find new topics for discussion. So I for one would appreciate things returning to civil interaction. Or do I need to open a can of whooparse! |

What we do to minimize the constant "spooling up" is to write tech articles that comprize all of the recommendations from the airlines and the the airplane manufacturer--a kind of summary-so we do not have to keep repeating ourselves and waste everyones time--even me, a newbie, has seen a lot of repetition on this forum-just a suggestion-has anyone thought of collaborating and creating a master Drozd tech and mod manual? There is a lot of experience on the forum and it should be archived before the masters depart-- For example: Quick Tech Article (my research has shown) Subject: N batteries 10 required (replaces 6 AA batteries) Advantages: Extra Voltage=Extra Solenoid Power=More gas Down the barrel=Higher FPS (how much on average?) Required for higher pressure HPA systems to actuate the magazine valve effectively. (benefits for CO2?) Recommended Vendor(s): Circuit City $1.99 for Duracell QTY 2 plus shipping and taxes (or pick up at store). Modification Required: Battery diameter/length is smaller than stock AA, Batteries must be wrapped with 8 turns of black electrical tape or (just my idea) two layers of 3/8 heat shrink tubing procured from vendor xxxxx or radio shack Disadvantages: N-batteries procured at local stores are expensive-batteries that are wrapped incorrectly with tape or newspaper may become stuck in the battery chamber requiring disassembly of the gun to remove batteries. Loose batteries may cause intermittent operation or lower rates of fire, lower FPS. Anyways my 2 cents-- I would be willing to help if we could figure out how to achive the info-we could also have the masters review the articles for accuracy- |

As life would have it, I dont find much significance in matters unworthy of deferring my interests from things I enjoy. That said, I hate almost personally when anyone on this board feels wrong or no longer comfortable here. I have found friends and commraderie here. Thats what this board has always been. No one should feel singled out here for anything other that positive response or valuable quality debate. In the end, only you yourself can chose to be comfortable here or allow yourself to feel outcast. The value of a tome of good discourse cannot be outweight by the smidgeon of negative. The strength lays in the ability to enjoy the fruit and discard the seeds. |

The thing that frosts my arse about new guys is that some just jump in asking questions that have already been answered numerous times! LAAAZYYY!! If they would just take the time to use the search function worlds-o-wonder will be revealed! Also they could just begin at the beginning and work their way through the posts until they hit today. That's what I did here, and at Mp661k, even before I signed up. A master tech list would be shweet but since this forum is not moderated it would take some serious no life having Drozd-er to do it! |

I'm still learning here. Better to learn from the old master(s)I figure. I know about the search mode. It's just hard to put into words the things that I want to know. Maybe I'm just too old fashioned (that's probably it). I was raised in the old days when computers didn't have the answers to everything. The old posts are are a reflection of the past history of the forum. Maybe there are new ways of getting information. I like to see the old mixed in with the new. Maybe some disagree with that method. There are people that started the forum that are no longer involved. They all played a vital part in not only the forum, but in our lives. Time moves on.... I have no idea what issues you are facing in your life now, but I can guarantee you that it will all be changing soon, as that is how life is. Best not to be too swift in your decisions... So, Rad, please don't abandon the forum. Things are about to change here, and you are a vital part of this group. Maybe the changes you feel deal with health issues, your job, or personal relationships, or the way your life is going in general. I just want to thank you for not only contributing to my knowledge of the Drozd (and probablle future knowledge), but also to the other things that are intangible (well, the vodka post was appreciated). So, until the JimC HiCap mag is completed, I expect to hear something from you on a frequent basis! And also, seriously, I like this forum as is , in spite of the occasional irritants. WELOME IRRITANTS! Bring it on, you make me laugh! HAHAHAHA! Let's find some more old posts.. The best to ya... Kerry |
