Magazine neopnene gasket/leaking.
Greetings all. One of my magazine valve heads is leaking. There is a very small white neopnene gasket there.I have tried getting it out but no luck.I have a couple of extra gaskets.Tried putting an extra gasket in.The leaking is much less but still leaking. Has anyone had a similiar problem? Has anyone replaced that gasket with a similiar gasket or rubber o-ring.Where one one look for either a very small neopnene o-ring or a small rubber o-ring? Anyone who has had a leaking mag. head pipe in. Need some advice from anyone who has had a leaking magazine and was able to cure it. GD.

Re: Magazine neopnene gasket/leaking.
morning GD

After disassemby and reassmebling a valve mechanism I had a leak there, I took out the seal and it was ok (you have to get something to get into the inner hole and 'hook' it out) I had overtightened the valve assembly o/s nut; this caused too much pressure on the assembly, so I loosened it and the leak stopped .
If you are not using C02 the seal should last a long time I would have thought.
Although if you are using 1400psi...........................

Most drug stores will have dental pics to hook it out, and pretty cheap too. After re-assembly you can gas up and submerge the whole mag in water to check for leaks...then you will KNOW .

Re: Magazine neopnene gasket/leaking.
Greetings all. After a whole day on the keaking gasket front.I think I can say I can offer advice on the leaking gasket front. What a stuggle. Had it stop once and then it started to leak again. It has stopped for now but I am below 1000psi. The leak was in the gasket between the mag. head and the exspanion camber. I but an extra o-ring there. The struggle continues and yes the fun is still there. GD.
