Instructions for full auto 2003 wanted
Just found out my old Daisy 2003 can be converted to full auto but I cannot find the instructions. The instructions that point to the yahoo images page no longer works and I cannot find any cached copies. Does anyone have instructions on how to convert this gun?

Re: Instructions for full auto 2003 wanted
you just need to place a 1/4 inch long piece of steel rod into the slot just above the trigger (you can clip off a piece of coat hanger if you cant find steel rod).
when you take the gun apart you will notice a slot just above the trigger, the slot is there so that after the first shot the sear will slide forward and stop the bolt from firing the next shot, with steel rod to fill the space in that slot, the bolt will keep bouncing back and forth for as long as your air supply lasts (use bulk air from paintball tank, you will need it). get dummy 12 gram cartridge from crooked barn.com to adapt for bulk air. and remember to use bb's they work fine in the magazines, pellets will jam up in full auto once in a while and will break the plastic bolt inside.

Re: Instructions for full auto 2003 wanted
Thanks! I will give that a try. Are there any pictures or instructions on how to take the gun apart?

As for the BBs I have been doing that since day one when I first got it. When I used pellets the thing would always jam and I was getting pretty pissed with it. I decided to see if BBs fit in the thing and when they did they never jammed. Only hard part is loading the BBs but I pretty much have that down now.

Thanks again!

Well I finally managed to take it apart and find the right hole to stick the rod in. Man that thing goes through co2. If I get a chance to I will post pictures with instructions. I need to find a larger screw for one side of the gun because it stripped. Its the one that helps cock the gun.

Thanks!

using BBs will eventually break the tip off the bolt. But it does not effect the function. Short bursts with "cool down" (or warm back up) cycles work the best to conserve CO2.

Re: Instructions for full auto 2003 wanted
the plastic bolt is bound to break anyway reguardless of ammo type, i have broken one, called daisey for replacement, they sold me the very last one they had, said they had to disassemble a new gun that they had in stock to sell me the part, i begged them to sell me the whole gun but they refused. next time i break one i will fabricate a bolt out of metal to replace it.

OK I took the gun apart, I have no Idea where to put that lil piece of wire. I don;t know what a SEAR looks like. I took the metal piece off that controls the ability to shoot with the mag in.I don't see a "slot" to install a piece of coat hanger.

PLEASE HELP! I also figured out how to put an extended barrel on! Maybe I will trade secrets!Pics below! And it does shoot! I don;t have a chrono but I figured that part out last night and you should see the next mod after I find out how to go full auto.

It will be an mp5 or an m4, not sure yet.....most likely an mp5

Re: Instructions for full auto 2003 wanted
the thick metal piece (1/4" thick) that pivots up and down under spring tension, its just above the trigger. it may be hard to see the slot. has been many years since i have made this conversion and i did not take pictures, but it is very easy once you understand the way this common blowback design works. take the plastic shell off of the gun, it should be visible, this piece holds the bolt back after you cock the gun, when you pull the trigger it releases the bolt, but it also slides backwards because of the slot and locks the bolt again after you fire. so your just going to fill in the space on the front side of this slot so that the bolt will keep cycling until you release the trigger (or run out of air/ammo).

Got it already! Man I was an idiot I went through like 8 cans of air. I originally put it there but then I couldn;t close the gun so I was thinking WTF> nothing else made sense. Thanks a lot!
