EBOS Dress Up
First step in improving the looks and functionality of my new EBOS was to glue a 14mm CCW fitting to the end of the barrel. This allows for the attachment of airsoft parts.

Now I can add a flash hider to the barrel, and a laser and handgrip underneath...

...or I can add a supressor and reddot...

Hope you like the pics. / Greg

Nice work!

Tell me something about the EBOS, you or anyone else. Do you know the thread pitch and diameter of the barrel at the breech??

Wondering how it compares to the Drozd. Just planning ahead for barrel length mods ---Cam

Re: EBOS Dress Up
Greg,

I'm new to the boards and just ordered my EBOS the other day. Can you tell me if there's a specific type of CCW fitting you purchased? Just wondering how to determine which one would fit the barrel properly. I want to put a suppressor or barrel extension on my EBOS.

Thanks,
Bryan

Re: EBOS Dress Up
I put a bulk air adapter on mine and regularly put 1200 psi into my gun. Works great!

Re: EBOS Dress Up
Hey Cam, I actually ordered the adapter when I bought it. I also ordered a red-dot Leapers. My advice before I even use this - throw that lame-ass rear site away. It's a piece of junk. I have removed the forward handle and added the red-dot and it already looks mean. I am still looking to add a barrel mod though. Anyone know of an easy/consistent way to add an adapter so I can use an Air-Soft barrel?

I never used it once. It was the first thing I took off the gun.

I have yet to do a barrel mod. I'll get on it soon. Stay tuned...

It works ok for me but you really have to almost hyper extend your arm for what would need to be a stocked site radius.

Re: EBOS Dress Up
Cam, DUBB, anyone, have ideas about an easy attach and fully remove system? Maybe from a wood based design? Seems it would be much easier. Even a design for the ABS stocks used on AKs. Then one could shoot the pistol versions of say my GSG pistols. Wo it being permanently attached, I dont think there is any clause that exclude that type of setup.

Re: EBOS Dress Up
How 'bout something like this. This is one possibility for the Steel Storm. It'll take some "grinding" to make it work on the EBOS. But doable (Real wood Uzi stock...) :

Re: EBOS Dress Up
Here's the EBOS with a real Uzi fold-under stock:

I Talked to JimC about this mod (It looks better than the "AR stock mod he did, as the "AR" does NOT belong on this type of gun...). Jim's comment was that the stock, when folded, obstructs your grip on the gun. I see no issue once a spacer is put between the gun butt and the folding stock.

You can see in that first photo that the stock will INDEED obstruct your grip. This is the gap needed to clear your hand on the grip:

Re: EBOS Dress Up
Sooo, I'll make a spacer out of aluminum block. After that is done, the wood Uzi stock will fit also!:

Check back a little later!

Re: EBOS Dress Up
Also, going to put a 16" barrel (One Piece) with barrel shroud or suppressor.

Netstamp had a great suppressor he was selling. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N5ZknajV98&feature=youtu.be

I'll make my own though. $199.00 is too expensive an option to add to a $90.00 gun!

I'm a DUMB AZZ!!! I didn't realize I was posting Steel storm mods in this EBOS thread!!

I'll leave all my posts here and start a new thread for the Steel Storm here:

The stock mod continues there.

Sorry 'bout that folks!
