Need compact co2 high fps autoloading pellet pistol
I was recently attacked by a loose dog, and have had other close calls in the past. Enough is enough. Pepper spray has been ineffective so I need a compact co2 powered pellet pistol. Something that I can conceal, is repeating, highest fps possible and highest magazine capacity possible.

preferably .22 or larger.

crosman has several different .177 multi shot bb pistol that are rated at just under 500 fps, thats pretty darn fast considering that you would probably shoot at close range

As far as I know there are no .22 repeating co2 pistols sold new today. I would like to see one myself too. There is a russian pistol that is fed by belt for a total of around 18 pellets. some of the bb "autos" are some what if-y on feeding. the crosmans that have the rotary clip only have 6 and 8 pellets but are reliable for feeding. They have a new model in bb only with a spring fed 18 round magazine with 495fps called the C41. That one might be worth a second look.

It is a big over kill but they do make bear spray, expensive but it is said to turn a grizzly. I think it is in a can at least as big as a can of spray paint!

I never got back at it but I took a throw away fire extinguisher apart and cleaned all the powder out of it. At the gauge port I put a tire valve in it and filled 1/2 with water and added 120lbs of shop air. it shoots about 20-30 feet and what I was going to do is put some cayane pepper with the water for dogs. john

.22 air gun ain't gonna cut it no how against dogs, unless you shoot it in both eyes. Get a compact 9mm or 45ACP handgun, if you are doing a proper job of concealed carry no one will know until you have to shoot, and then, that will be the least of your worries, what with PETA and all. Don't wait around for someone to show up and take a report, you'll be fine.

Lest anyone think Viu is over-reacting and being "macho", where I live there have been a number of incidents where large dogs have attacked and killed grown adults and children. One particularly sad incident was a small boy left in his car carrier seat by his mother. She left him unattended for a few minutes with the boyfriend's dog loose in the house. She heard screams and returned to find the dog had pulled off the boy's diaper and eaten his penis and gonads. The little boy lived, but can you imagine his life now? Once upon a time, gun makers made pocket guns for the express purpose of dispatching loose dogs, I think it's an old-timey tradition we should bring back.

Check out any online store and then you can decide which one suits you the best. I am sure there are many online stores which sells best pistols for reasonable prices.
