I'm pleased that you like the adapter. The rule of thumb is 15fps per inch of increased barrel length with CO2. A longer barrel will also give increased muzzle velocity with HPA, but not to the same extent since it expands/flows faster than CO2. Using a longer barrel allows the gas more time to expand before the BB leaves the barrel thereby accelerating it to a higher velocity........ HTH

HPA will make your gun more "accurate", but wont increase power...kinda. Ok, Co2 operates at about 800psi, but this greatly depends on the outside temp, and how fast the co2 is released. HPA (compressed air) on the other hand does no flucuate. This allows more consistent shots, because the power is the same no matter how fast you shoot, or what the temp is. A barrel on the other hand will actually give you a huge power increase, about 200-300fps if you go with a 24". This power and length will also give you improved accuracy. I say go for both

I just installed JimC's HPA conversion and I am very impressed! Thankyou JimC. I was wondering what gives a greater power increase......the HPA conversion or a longer barrel 'cause I can't believe that a barrel could give even more of a performance increase.
