You can see the RPM variable rate control in this image (along with the single/auto and burst 1/full/burst 2 select switches) The single/auto switch is the one just in front of the trigger. To the rear of the trigger is the thumb switch for the laser.
 And this image shows the other side of the Drozd. The added controls are connected into the main body thru the shown cable and connector. If you want to carry out the mod, it should be possible to use the switches inside the Drozd and add a rotory pot somewhere along the side of the body. A rotory selector switch could be used if you really wanted to select all burst rates available.  | ||||

Hi Everyone,
I've been modding the electronics (again!). Now have fully variable RPM (pot controlled) from approx 200 to 1200 RPM with selectable burst rate ( from 2 to 10 at any RPM) or fully auto. I've wired mine for the standard 1, 3 and 6 (and full auto). Only one cut on the Drozd standard pcb for this mod (on the top of the board this time). I've posted a few pics on photob*cket.
