I thought when a "Boxer" (i.e. Barbara) was punch drunk and brain dead, a referee would come and take her out of the ring--(Dennis Miller Quote)-she now claims that Bush is to blame for the "Bush Fires" because the resources from the CA Natl Guard have been deployed to Iraq--
When will it stop? I can't take it anymore!!!-- I understand that a lot of our CA lefty gov officials dis-invited our CIC (Bush) to come and survey the damage and lend a hand--we wouldn't have these fires if the greenie weenie tree huggers would allow controlled burning---(like dude, unh, it may affect the habitats, man) They had the Womens Conference in Long Beach yesterday--I had a lot of gals I know loaded with tomatoes and lettuce to throw at the "imposternator"--he was tending to the fires (right) so his skinny tweaker wife (Maria Schrieber Kennedy) showed up to speak for him (they forgot to mount testicles on The Terminator)- Good thing Fred Thompsons' hotty trophy wife was there to calm the crowd down, and teach these dykes how to act if they want a rich husband!!! I'm stocking up on Drozds for the pending ban--

Hi Kerry,
VT is a beautiful place to live, although not quite as nice as when I first arrived years ago. Still have our 2nd amendment rights though. We can even carry, open or concealed, without a permit (there is no such thing as a permit here). My main complaints are the rainy weather and being over run by liberals. Folks tend to want to move here and make it like it was where they came from. JB

They pay plenty of attention to these things-drugs: on how to score more, legalize 'em, and then get their fix paid for by universal health care, gangs: to intimidate or force people to follow leftist agendas, and crime: a way to keep everyone dependent on state government services since they're not allowed to defend themselves.

Sadly, yes it is. You've been exposed to the Bay Area and the only cure is exposure to the byproducts of burnt gunpowder and vaporized copper jacket....
I'm at the end of the Bay where all the air pollution from SanFran gets pushed(San Jose) They love to brag about their air quality but it's got nothing to do with planning or eco nuts or hybrids, it's all the water around and wind.

I lived there for almost 5 years... got there right before the big quake of 89 in Frisco'. and didn't leave till '94. Had to help do quake clean up while living on treasue island. Had to stay locked in my house while Reginald Denney was getting a brick to the head when I lived in Long Beach and watch out for all the fruitcakes in Hillcrest and Balboa park while I lived in San Diego. I actually liked San Diego though. It's not quite as nutty as the rest of the state.... plus it was easy to ride the trolley down to TJ!

if they paid as much attention to crime, drugs & gangs as they do la-la stuff the state could survive...... lived there (there the operative word) 20 years ago & the place is still whacky....... BUT, for us that don't live there good thing ca. is a nut magnet as they stay away from our states (altho we have a ton on ca. folks here in az.).... they left ca. to get away from whatever & now try to make this state like what they left!........ soap box put away

The good folks in CA must be sitting back and allowing all this to happen? It's definitely past time for mass civil disobedience. I would NEVER live there, cause if I did I'd either be imprisoned or dead from confrontations where I refuse to comply! This crap should have been nipped in the bud early on. Now they have so much momentum (and stupid laws already in place) that it would be hard to reverse without a revolution of some sort. The best thing at this point would be the mother of all earthquakes. That's why I live in a FREE state like VT!

I'm from LB Ca--all of my nasty weapons reside in AZ--had to get my fix with the Drozd--
I'm starting to give up-- Our Gov "The Sperminator" with his lefty anarexic wife and alcholic uncle, bannned the .50 BMG a year or two back, (first step to "by caliber" limitations) and just last week he signed a bill so that all semi-autos admitted for registration in the state will have to have brass case imprinting capability, which to my knowledge does not exist-the drive bys will have to shoot from within the car or buy brass catchers!! The stupid law does not apply to revolvers-- He also banned lead ammo in the wildlife areas because the condors were getting lead poison--then just today, I received a mailer stating that Long Beach is trying to pass a city ordinance requiring fingerprinting for ammo purchases!!! I don't think the po-po would understand here, they have outlawed blow guns, throwing stars, and nunchucks-- They are closing gun ranges, and we are headed towards Aussie, Canada, and England rule on the left coast-- Has anyone else noticed the immediate impingement of the lefty agenda due to the almost certain election of that bitch??

Hi Phuget.....,
I was over in Monterey in the Air Force in late '76-early '77. I really liked it there, by the ocean was great! I didn't have a Drozd then though... Over here by Lake Michigan, we're not allowed to shoot in the city limits (Manitowoc). Of course, indoors is up to you. Just necessary to use common sense. It'll probably be a bit of time before I get my Drozd to where I want it. Bulk air, solenoid adjustment, N batteries, maybe a 23" JimC barrel are in the future. I already have the 15" barrel and full auto 1200 RPM. So, I have a taste of the potential. Later, Kerry

California, Bay Area. It's so warped here I have to go to an official range just to play with my drozd. which sucks because I'm needing to tune the solenoid but still gotta pay range fees even if it turns out there's something else wrong.

Thanks for your response. The barrel lock is a good idea. What state are you in, may I ask? I'm in Wisconsin myself. Later, Kerry

in my state, walking around with even a lever action spring pump crosman is "Brandishing a Firearm", and gets confiscation and a court date at *minimum*. Being seen loading it into a vehicke, un-cased, is enough to get the cops called who will make an issue of it to avoid a total time waste. Even cased, you'd better make sure to have no ammo anywhere near it, make sure the airgun is in your trunk, and preferrably trigger locked. otherwise, the good leftards in City Hall will make sure you get a nice expensive fine, loss of your toy, and other example-making events.
Unless you're not a citizen, then you can pretty much get away with anything-hard for them to fine you because they don't know your real name, and they're not allowed to hold you because of "civil rights" reasons. So you're out of there before CNIS even finds out about you, if they're notified at all. My D stays in a nice hard case, (gonna need a new one now that the barrel's longer) and only comes out at the range.

Hi OPP,
Just as I thought, there is a grey area with these BB chuckers in the burst/full auto mode. Best to be cautious with our Russian toys! Regards, Kerry

Discretion is, of course, advised. Most of the urban centers where I have lived consider an air rifle or pellet gun as a "firearm" and subject to the same laws and ordinances. This is much like a bicycle falling under the same laws and ordinances as a motor vehicle.
The problem comes with the full auto capability. THAT has NOT been addressed by local law enforcement as of yet due to the unique nature of our precious little spittle guns. We certainly DON'T want the full auto nature of them addressed either or it could cramp our style very quickly. Let's just stay outta trouble, boys, and protect our little Russian hoses with every bit of integrity we can muster. (Case in point: I now live in Utah County, Utah. We had the hottest summer on record with such dry conditions that within a four day period there were two brush fires started by sparks from richochet bullets. They immediately issued a shooting ban county wide. I called the sheriff's department about shooting my "BB gun" out in a remote canyon where I often go. The word came firmly, "NO. They are subject to the same laws as true firearms." I didn't go for nearly two months. I shot in my basement into cadboard boes of newspapers...heh, heh, heh.)

Hi whiptats,
Thanks for your reply. I guess out of sight/out of earshot = out of mind! I was curious whether somebody got in trouble for having the burst or full auto effect happening, but I should probably just be discreet and concentrate on having fun! Thanks, Kerry
