Yeah, I know Connecticut laws. I've read that before. The loophole is that it applies to "firearms" Not airguns. I have an "Archangel" stock on my Ruger 10/22 that meets a bunch of the criteria for an assault rifle. But, you can still buy it at our local Cabela's...

mate being a plumber by trade i have always known silver-soldering to be the same thing as brazing. I used safety-silv 45 which is 45% silver with a melting point about 1200 degree.

Would have been better to sliver solder the muzzle device. Then it could be changed or reversed in the future.

Hate to tell you mate, but from what i understand CT DOES have similar rules to NY at least on the assault weapons. And for the "Evil Feature list" i believe its the same. A semi automatic rifle that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine can only have one of the following features 1) pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously below the action 2)flash hider or threaded barrel capable of accepting a flash hider (this counts as one feature even if the weapon has a threaded barrel and a flash hider) 3) Collapsible or folding stock 4) Grenade launcher 5) Bayonet lug Now if its a pre-ban it can have the lot. There's some pretty good info here http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_8_26/318459_the_nra_synopsis_on_CT_and_assault_weapons.html

I restored my early 80's Crosman 760 and 766.
That old 760, we used to pump it 40-50 times, at a time! Blew out the piston/seals.

Its gonna take a little time. But this is good as I need to catch up on some of their SN's. Just a note, but if you want to shoot an offer my way, I am partail to the board members. Some are right out of the box, while the others have been reworkd and customzed with trigger settings and max power. I must be honest, but focusing in the monosidedness of just feeding bbs (they guns and not the Daisy zinc per se)and adustment issues would scream out for some variety-and to keep in mind some are most if not all, retored to their power and prowess of when they were produced c. 1950-3arly seventies. The point (im sure youve all been rivoted to), is you may want to take a break form a solenoid and electrical gun and opt for something with plenty of old worldheft, power and tough ad durable with pleanty if parts. I hope you find the switch bringing vision and clarity to what Ive been typing. My .02-RAD

Heheheh!! Yep them's some BIG nuts that can "shoot yer eye out quicker than yer gun!!! 'Specially when they drop from 100' up! You should see all the Acorn dents on the top of my "pick-em-up" truck! And they weigh 1/4 as much!! Full auto with steel bb's really makes 'em varmints do flips 'fer sure! ...Lead usually drops 'em, straight up though! Well, don't know if those "howlin' bugs" get so thick you can pick 'em off easy. They don't here in Connecticut. (damn!) I'll give you all a peak at the project in a couple a weeks. It's gonna be awesome! I don't know anyone that can easily shoot 35' in a tree, then walk away 30' to the fridge and grab a brew!
