Heheheh!! Yep them's some BIG nuts that can "shoot yer eye out quicker than yer gun!!! 'Specially when they drop from 100' up! You should see all the Acorn dents on the top of my "pick-em-up" truck! And they weigh 1/4 as much!! Full auto with steel bb's really makes 'em varmints do flips 'fer sure! ...Lead usually drops 'em, straight up though! Well, don't know if those "howlin' bugs" get so thick you can pick 'em off easy. They don't here in Connecticut. (damn!) I'll give you all a peak at the project in a couple a weeks. It's gonna be awesome! I don't know anyone that can easily shoot 35' in a tree, then walk away 30' to the fridge and grab a brew!

Good story cam!. Waiting to see the new shooting setup. Knowing u it wont be anything shy of Rockin. Funny the shooting on the roll. Had that happen once. There was a russle in the bush. I spun with my Drozd drawn down saw the Jack and capped a deadly burst that had him cartwheel head over tail. Only FA auto would have done that. Too dang hot these days. Now the cicadas are in full rhythm. Got to remember no to get to happy fingered under the walnut trees or I get my own return flack!

Been shooting an awful lot with the .22lr and the CCI CB Long ammo lately. Having great fun! Last night I was up in the treehouse and my dog suddenly goes nuts hearing the flying squirrels nesting under the floor of the treehouse.. I heard ABSOLUTELY nothing 'till he went nuts!!
Imagine the tree trunk coming up through the floor of the treehouse. Right where the seal between the floor boards and the tree trunk I start hearing a "squeak, ...squeak". My doggie goes nuts!! ...and tries to dig the floor boards up! .....Good boy! What a great guard dog. Amazing what what that German shepherd can hear. All was super quiet, then WWWOOOOFFF!! Now alerted I ran inside and grabbed my Drozd assault rifle and went under the treehouse to see if I could catch that critter. I'm on the ground looking 25 feet up to the treehouse's floor joists. ...Scanning around, ...Looking, ....looking, ..... then that little critter took a jump off the tree trunk and flew about 15 feet from me!!!! Dumb-Ass!! ....BBBRRRAAAAPPPP....... dead squirrel. Those damn little buggers have been chewing on the treehouse supports. Cute as hell, until I get mad!! It sure is amazing to pick up that bb machine gun after a few weeks and let 'er rip!! Really reinforces how cool that gun is!! Been awful busy lately, but I'll be back in "full-swing" shortly. I'm adding a "shooting platform" outside the back of my treehouse. It's going to be a real dream shooting range soon! You'll all get the first peak at it in my next video! It's about 35 feet off the ground!! What a rush!! Well more to come later, Hope you all enjoyed my little tale!. ---Cam

Although I knew that there were other kinds of cb caps out there, the ones I mostly used to use were Winchester, I think, and came in a box of 500, short cases. I used them on account of they were super cheap. CCI makes the best .22 ammo, period, IMO. I loved their "Stinger" hyper velocity LR's, 32gr hp's, and all the powder that could fit. I'm glad you are having fun with these, I mostly get scoffed off and or laughed at as soon as I mention that they are low power. They do have their merits, don't they? "Silence: something about silence makes me sick, cause silence can be violent sort of like a slit wrist"- Rage Against The Machine "Children should be seen and not heard, and their .22's should be neither"- Me BTW, Take it easy on the cap habbit, if you get all addicted and strung out on the things, I'll always feel partially resposible for turning you on to the things. They are very addicting, as so or more than a lot of illegal drugs. I wouldn't want to be the one who turned you on to any of those, then watch you fuck everything up, and get all addicted, either. I got strung out on LR's, I had a security gueard job, and they assigned me to the county landfill, graveyard shift. All the rats you can shoot, I was doing a brick every night, as much or more than the damn job paid! Believe me, it doesn't have to be a table 2 substance, or even illegal, to be nasty addictive, you know.

Yep, It sure is fun. I was out first thing this morning taking out a chipmunk! I love the CCI CB long's. Powerful and quiet. I have to say they may be the best out there.
DUBB, those "CB's" you were talking about, were they the one's I'm using? Haven't seen any other "CB's", specifically, out there.

Now that sounds familiar: me and an old roomate of mine had a ball when I turned him onto cb caps. We'd get scolded for "shooting .22's" when we used the pellet guns, but nobody ever heard those cb caps. I was particular to an old, bolt action rifle with maybe 22" or 24" of barrel on it. All you could really hear was the firing pin striking: "pink". B/A rifles are the ultimate silent indoor plinkers for those. No action moving or anything, "pink". The ones we got came in 500 round boxes, cheap. Shoot all day, and get away with it. I should point out that the cops use special, low velocity 9mm called "black talons": reduced charge, but with special, steel core hp's that are designed to break no matter what they hit, so they don't go through people they kill, and kill anyone else. For 9mm, they are pretty quiet, and also subsonic, so they would be the natural cantidates for a silenced 9mm.

Yes ABSOLUTELY quieter in a rifle. Nearly silent with the 16" Ruger's barrel! I did read reviews that pistols are louder.

I'm jealous! 1. Can't have any mags w/caps higher than 10, even with .22s1 2. That you can shoot in yer own back yard! Like the idea of making it look like the Drozd, nobody has a clue and it's probably not much louder than the Drozd. Saweet!

I don't like the .25, I've had bad experiences with those. I used to have a Beretta Model 21A in .22LR, those also come in .25, but why? I thought that was about the smartest designed pocket-rocket-pea-shooter. It had a spring loaded hinged barrel that could "shotgun", and did so with enough force from the spring to eject live rounds from the breech. So it was made to be chambered and unchambered without working the action, so you didn't have to cock it to chamber, and deckock on a chambered round to leave it uncocked for "double action". I loved that thing. And I happen to be one of the world's only experts in reappropriating sidearms put within reach. Most automatics are exceptionally easy, since they are easily jammed, just grab it hard enough to push the slide back a tiny bit and they can't be fired. Only a tiny ammount of pressure is required. That little bugger didn't have very much to grab that way at all, and was harder to disable, as autos go. The only pistols that really scare me, the hardest to take away are the old, single action six shooters. Bet you would never have guessed that. Double action revolvers are next, not that much easier than the single actions, but enough that I'm not affraid of those, really. If anyone cares, I could do a longwinded post on that, it's not dependant on "showing you" as telling you, it's something you can easily learn just by reading and following instructions. And anyone can do it. It's a matter of technique, and knowledge. This comes to mind when I see that .25 of yours, I used to use one with a nailgun blank to demonstrate it, because I have one nailgun blank, nobody has ever managed to fire it at me when I take that .25 away, even when they know what I am going to do, and countdown to when I am going to do it. It's a great parlor trick.

Unlike many .25's Ive held, this one seems to have a little more heft to it. Nice having the small finger extension on the mag. Some times a situation just calls for a small concealable. 3/4 of the time, maybe more, in any situation its just seeing one is armed that deters a situation from going any further. Still one shot, one kill! Nice RG D&C!
