VERY Cool!!!! Someone did some thinking on that FMG-9.
I can't imagine that they couldn't sell a TON of those if it works as good as it apparently unfolds.

As I have always said and lived by, if a deal comes your way and you dont grab it, all you have is your nuts in your hand
This is the same as the Norinco 84s-1 thats NIB but a shooter in excellent condition. If you see a quad runner for sale almost 50% below market, you come up with a dozen reasons not to buy-fools I say. Its like walking by a 20$ bill on the pavement. Now who does that? :-? : This one was in town and a shake of the hand and exchange of protocols and items. Personal sales are person to person. Before I knew it last night the deal was done and I had the AK the next day brought to my work. 8-) ![]() ![]() note the mags are relatively rare and worth 50$ each today. Norinco 223 mags.

Radical, check out this link from GB. This guy really did not like his GSG-5. I thought his sincerity was funny.

Thanks Blurted. I did read a bunch over at ARFCOM about them and the first impression was that their mechanics were complicated. That said, one might rely on German quality standards. The 22lr round is very mild on the operation of most semi systems. Im buying this with the novelty sign. Just because there will be a day when few fun things come for sale. As I am not a high volume shooter(cant, too many) I dont think I will push the gun to its limits. I look at it as an airsoft gone powder, and it is German made after a very reliably and successful subgun.

Radical,
You may want to check out some of the forums dedicated to the GSG-5. Alot of people that bought them have had problems with them. They are apparently not well made. None of the HK MP5 accessories will work with it and they have been said to be made of cheap plastic. Just letting you know what I have read about it.

I saw one of these and read enough to know that its a hot item and likely will not be around long. It is NOT a krinker plinker 10/22 but rather a real MP5 in a 22LR framework. They are dead on accurate and fire as fast as a paintball gun it seems. I ordered one tonight. They are back ordered everywhere.

not in pistol form. Pistols have to feed from the grip. (this is why we can't get the Kel-Tec PLR-16 even though we can get the SU-16 rifle that has the same action) Plus each and very pistol available in CA has to be approved. Custom work isn't submitted for approval very often because it's very expensive for the manufacturer. Only DOJ approved handguns are legal for purchase. And what's really sad is, two years or so after approval, each make and model must be resubmitted or it "falls off" the list and can no longer be bought, sold or transferred in the Peoples Republik of California.
The barrel will also have to be over 18 inches or it's a dreaded SBR and it's practically impossible to get the permits to own one in CA. Even if you have the money there are legal hoops added that practically ban all but current and retired LEO's, Hollywood types and politicians from owning SBRs and full automatics. The Constitution needs not apply in CA. Too bad "affirmative action" doesn't cover the discrimination the Constitution faces here. To the back of the bus with ya, Bill of Rights!

do they sell a similar upper with a longer barrel? that way i could build an AR rifle and not have to worry about the "thumbhole" stock problem and keep the detachable magazine.
Yeah, things are weird in CA.

Nice carbine!
20+ years ago I had a paratrooper carbine. The folding stock was an underfolder very much like an AK47 underfolding stock. It had a big cone flashider that was held on with a wing nut, pistol grip, ventilated upper handguard and a 30 round mag. I THINK it was a Universal. So many years ago!

When you love M1 Carbines, What does one do?
Well get another! So I did! This is an Inland 1942 barrel with flaming bomb, "P" proof sans serif, cross cannon cartouch on the right side of stock. Stock is Inland(IO on sling well) JAO on selector and rear sight, "N" on front sight, all outward parts are correct for Inland in this serial prefix 371XXXXXXX. Im going to stip it this week to get the numbers and markings on the internal parts. ![]() ![]()

The only hangup I have is field stripping that for cleaning. Some of the guys I was shooting with used a ransom rest to test how accurate all the target pistols were. (Pardini,Browning,Smith&Wesson,Ruger, and Walther) Believe it or not the ruger came out on top.

The stainless ruger mark2 is a USA shooting team edition gold plated bolt and trigger and extremely accurate. I compete in the gallery mach with an average score of 296 out of a possable 300.
