Just noticed my post are not appearing under the question I answer, but inline with the original and on top. Very Confusing!

I will copy the question in all future answers.
I have a BB machine gun forum that allows proper threading and to me is easier to use.

http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/279847

I am really interested in this gun,and would be happy to host articles, FAQS, mods, etc on my site

www.funsupply.com

that contains lots of info on conventional pellet guns as well as NFA class III items.

I also run the Fun Supply Airgun Forum and the Fun supply Chinese airgun Forum. Find all of em at

Jayhawk,

How is the velocity with that tank setup?

525 max with stock barrel, pot at about 3/8 up. any more gets louder, smokes a lot, just wasting gas, no velocity increase. Using stock valve and barrel. Only difference is bulk co2.

I'm very interested in this..will this give me more velocity? & can we have the tank as a stock such as the Talon?

I got 480 with the 12 gram and stock setting of the pot.
Since I am not too concerned with co2 use, I turned it up to 525 with the big tank. The pot wound up at about 3/8 up from all the way down, or left. turning it up more made a lot more noise and smoke, but did not increase velocity. I think 525 is about the max with the stock barrel and valve. Porting the vale should get more velocity from the stock barrel, but I have not done this yet.

Yes, the tank could be installed as the stock, but I dont know how well it will work.
It will render the stock site useless for sure, unless the tank is dropped down, which could be done as well.

The talon uses hpa which never liquifies, so the position of the bottle is not a problem. With c

It shoots great.
I am getting 525 fps feeding it gas, no drop off so far.
I can get in the 700s by feeding it liquid, but dont know how consistent this will be or if it will ruin the seals, only fired a few shots with liquid.
Needs a LOT more testing to advise this.

I have not counted shots yet, am using a 20 oz tank right now, the pic was with a 4 oz tank. Will be testing with hpa pretty soon I hope to have mly compressor working soon.
I made a short barrel extention by glueing part of the barrel of a non working AA Streamlight to the exsisting barrel. Looks fine, protects fingers and makes it louder.

This was a one off for me. Cooper T made the custom parts and has all but the stock listed on his page. I asked him about it and he said it was an erro, that he did not really have any for sale. IF enough peope contact me or him, mabe he will make more.
I buy items from him in quantity, and may can get him to make more if enough people are interested. Or he may have decided to to make a few more on his on.

I would be interested in a similar set up, maybe even with a short barrel extention if possible. razzami@rcn.com

That is very nice set up.
How does it shoot, how long till the co-2 tank runs out?
I would to have a drozd set up like that.
How much does the guy charge, what is the turnaround time?

I might be interested in such a setup if the tank was the stock as in the AirForce Talon or Condor guns. Is this possible?

Hey Jim- How about selling me a stock

I don't want to go with the adapter but I would like to talk to you about buying one of those cool looking stocks. I can figure out some way to fit it into the back of the Drozd.

Anyone interested in a group buy on bulk stock setup?
The person who made the adapters might be persuaded to make some more of them.

I do not have a firm cost figure, as this one was made as a favor to me. I would need to know about how many were wanted. It is not going to be cheap, as in addition to the custom made adapter to attach the M4 stock, the hose uses two dedicated swivels, as well as a QD that acts as a swivel in this application. These let the magazine move in all directions easily, making it easy to load.

There are also two other possible features that this setup does not have.

One is a check valve built into the male QD on the mag. The check valve would save co2 by retaining about 15 to 20 shots worth of co2 in the mag when the tank is unscrewed to de gas or the mag is changed.
A slide check would permit quick mag changes.

The downside of a check valve is possibe safety concerns of not knowing whether the mag was charged with gas.

I no longer use email due to spam. to contact me call James at Fun supply 662 748 2213. If anyone is intrested in just the stock, I have them for $50 shipped. They are real military grade collapsible stocks for the M16 series. Send a MO with you postal shipping address. I do not have the other parts at this time.
