The high pressure air and nitrogen tanks will work well with the SMG-22, but you need to regulate the pressure down to ~850 psi. Your neighbor should be able to help you out with making sure the pressure is right.

I called Air-Ordnance yesterday and spoke to Brad before I saw his post. He answered every question I had and convinced me this is the real deal. I place an order yesterday and received the tracking number today for delivery tomorrow. If the weather and time permits I will try and shoot a video this weekend. I do have a question on air cyclinders. I have a neighbor who lent me 2 Luxfer 4500psi, 45 ci cylinders. Can I use these? I assume the fire rate adjustment is actually a pressure valve but then again I know nothing and do not want to damage it right out of the box.

Call or e-mail Travis at airgunscourse.If anybody can get this gun in,it is him. More than likely the fps is less than 500fps as most manufactors use extremely light pellets and the RCMP is forced to use 14.3 grain pellets. The other problem is most likely the barrel is too long. No butt stock helps.The gun must be declared an air pistol and they have some secret process to establish this.Once named an airpistol,it is an airpistol no matter what you do it later. It must be able to be fired with one hand. GD.

It will be similar to the Drozd with two pressure leak spots. I wonder if there are seals on either end of the belt, in the diagram it doesn't look like there are any. So it will leak from the rear of the belt pellet chamber at first, then when the pellet enters the barrel some more will escape through the front of the belt pellet tube. Oh well, I don't think it could be any worse that how much gas escapes down the bb feed tube on the Drozd. In the manual they say the rate of fire can be by adjusted with a flow valve screw. This is based on CO2 at the 800-900 standard psi. That makes me think that if you use HPA at a higher psi, say 1000-1250 then the rate of fire will increase. I think it looks awesome. I wonder why they changed the design and put the barrel on top instead of the videos where it is inside what is now called the lower barrel.

Project 22 IS the Air Ordinance gun. It may be that the AO gun is either the prototype model OR the redesign for production. Not sure. I have not called them. They did send a email today that said they shipped it out to me and when i replied to the email asking for the tracking number they replied it was not sent yet because they did not get the payment yet and that just sounds fishy. I'm starting to worry a bit and i hope i don't get burned because no one here on the board has ever heard of this company or seen or heard of this gun before.
