Ray wrote me a very clear email and I got the thing done. Now, do I paint it to match or not?

It should probably read "slightly tap the adaptor, until flush."

Will someone familiar with the AR Stock Adapter sold by DrozdMax help me please....
I cannot make sense of the instructions that came with the UTG Model 4 Stock. They state, in part, "Tap the assembly into the Drozd receiver...slightly under flush...". First, what is the "assembly" referred to? Is it the two mandrels? Second, what is "under flush"? Does that mean "not quite flush"? If so, why not state exactly what size gap there should be? Finally, it looks to me like the adapter is just a little too big in diameter, and will stick out a bit when tightened flush to the receiver. Is that the case? Of course I have reached out to Ray, but have not heard back, so I hope someone here can help.. Thanks in advance. | ||||
