You'll figure it out and hopefully maybe have 2 working ones! Ive had something like that happen with me a few times. Could be a win win, depending on how you look at it.

It is time to give up.Broke another red wire and I have no idea where it goes.I am going to order the same mag from Airsoft GI. If it is exactly the same, I will be able to rewire the old one. I also asked for a diagram, manual and 2 switches and not to use UPS. USPS for me. gd.

Heh, heh. Yeah, sometimes it comes down to that. I've had to do that a few times on other projects. ---Cam

Yes Cam , it is a dual drum.More bad news.A red wire has broken off something on electronic board.I will take another look but I can't see where. I may have to operate off the pressure switch.I have sent Echo 1 an e-mail explaining the problem but no answer yet.I have put a posting on a large US airsoft site but lately they have stopped answering my posts. I am going to have to order another mag just like the one that doesn't work and VERY CAREFULLY look at the wiring. Oh well. GD

GD you are talking about that airsoft dual drum mag right??
I think that is normal what you are experiencing, as it is normally controlled by either sound or by that pressure switch that came with it. Try plugging the pressure switch in. The motor should stop spinning... ---Cam

This is often caused by a bad/burnt up transistor that controls the mag motor. My theory is that a BB gets inside the gun body and shorts it out.
The replacement part is 689-VN3205N3-G from mouser.com

The mag from hell is back togther but there is a problem. It won't stop feeding.I have to put my finger over the opening to keep bbs from flying scross the room. It winds and winds and does not stop until the batteries get weak or I shut off the switch? Is this NORMAL? I thought it should feed till the bb shaft is full and run only as the gun needs bbs.DAM! I then take my finger off and bbs shoot across the room.Isn't there a relay or clutch suppose to work. GD.
