The best way to go about a diagnosis, is to devide. First, try connecting the magazine to an external battery, if it comes on and the motor runs, it aint the mag, you have blown the transistor on your board. If it does not run, that is where the problem is, you probably just need to resolder the wire to the motor inside. Hopefully, its the latter.
Alternately, you could probe the plug on the gun for voltage when you turn it on, it should read for about 2 seconds.

May well be the power cord connection.Take the mag out.Take the bbs out. Make sure the power button is UP.Now but a hand full of bbs back in.Face the mag so you can see the the bb channel. Now turn the gun on by pushing the power button down. You should hear rachetting sound and see bbs being forced up the channel. It will stop when the whole channel is full with a bb seen in the exit hole of the mag head. Try that. GD.Ps. Very few people turn the gun on and then attach the power cord. This way you are doing it may be affecting the logic of the mag. GD.PS again. If the bbs don't move try firing the trigger with the gas line disconnected.

Welcome BigDaddyz
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be that tried to remove the BBird mag one too many times without unplugging the mag power cord and strained the cable to the point were the wires had snapped inside, they are very very thin. It was hard to diagnose because the wires would sometimes connect and the mag would work and the stop again. Jiggle the cable wire after turning on the drozd and see if it will start feeding. IF it works, then replace the cord with a higher gauge.

Thanks for the Welcome!
When I plug in the power cable, there is not a sound. I heard it the first time I shot the gun (2 days ago) but it stopped loading bb's halfway through the shooting. I noticed a bb that may have caused a jam and that has been removed. I am using Zinc plated Premium Grade BBs. The red light comes on when the cable is connected but other than that, there does not appear to be any other power happening. I just bought the unit and this is the first time it has been shot. I took the selenoid cover off and can see the selenoid is being hit correctlyThe air that comes out sounds like it does when shooting but without the bbs.

The Blackbird's mag makes an audible "ratcheting" sound EVERY time the power is turned on. If you do not hear that sound, the mag is not getting power. If the ratcheting sound is heard, there most likely will be a jam in the feed at the auger spring. If debris gets into the feed hopper, it will fall to the bottom of the auger channel and jam it.
Also, what exactly are you using for bb ammo? (Brand, lead or steel...) Open the mag up and take a look at that first, if you have power to the mag. We can help you fix your problem BigDaddyz. And by the way, Welcome! ---Cam

Hello BigDaddyz. When you say air,is it a huge blast? Also is your gun a Blackbird or older model? Take your selenoid cover off and confirm that you see the pin of the selenoid moving. Not sure I understand your statement about not hearing clicks. If you are not hearing clicks or seeing the pin on the selenoid move then it is an electrical problem. Also when you turn the gun on,is there a small red light coming on.It is on the left side? What are using to fire the gun.Is it co2 or Hpa (High pressure air). GD.

Hello! I tried new batteries, that did not solve the issue. The selenoid is firing. Air is coming out of the gun but no bbs. When I connect the gun before shooting it, I do not hear the clicks that tell me its ready to fire. any thoughts?

Hello BigDaddyz and welcome. There two likely causes.First is your drozd a Blackbird with motorized mag or the older drozd witha 30 round magazine? If it's a BB drozd there maybe a jam but very unlikely.Pull the mag out and see if bbs are all the way to the top.The second most likely cause is the selvee sorounding the selenoid pin.I have forgotten the correct term.It should be flush with the body of the gun. There is a large screw on the right side of the gun.Check to see if it is tight.Just tight not super tight. If it is not tight you will see the sevee sticking out.Loosen that screw and push the selvee back in.Retighten the screw. Let us khow. GD.

I shot my new DROZD today. While shooting it, I realized there were not any BB's coming out of the gun. I checked for jams, reset the batteries, and went through every troubleshooting process I could think of. The air is coming out. Everything seems to be working correctly except the BB's are not feeding.
Can anyone help me with this issue? I am a gunsmith and am used to handguns and firearms but this is my first Sport Air Gun.
