This will adjust the solenoid dwell time, in microseconds. This is the time that the solenoid will "dwell" or keep the valve open during each shot. This will obviously determine how much gas is released, and in turn, have a direct effect on the velocity and gas consumption. Sergey puts a button on his boards so that you change this setting on the fly, as well as have a read out for what the setting is, exactly, as opposed to guessing with the pot on the original boards. That pot isn't made to mess with very much, it will disintegrate after enough adjusting.

It's the pot adjustment. Might have been capped in older drozds. In BB you need to drill the plastic open to gain access.

I've made the adjustment. It WORKS. there is no comparison between the way the gun shoots when you get it out the boxd and how it shoots when turned all the way up. I've been using Daisy steel ABBs in it lately and they are coming out hard and fast. I don't have a chrony but the power is certainly there. Oh by the way there is a recoil to it after turning the power all the way up too so don't put your face too close to the iron sights

Has anyone here actually experimented with the velocity/air adustment behind that plastic cap? Rumor has it that the velocity can be increased significantly by turning it all the way up... 30 rnds per C02. But that is just rumor. I've not actually seen a definitive post from someone that has actually done it. Just obscure "Wow!" posts, which do not tell me much.
Anyone tried this and chrono'd the results? | ||||
