i finally ordered a hpa tank , hav fresh batteries and will be tryin out the hogged out one 1st, as long as they detrimental to the drozds power, ie losing after install,, but now i hav spares, i have spare mags too, in fact i have spare equip to make 3 bulk apdted mags with modified magheads & valves, hope it goes a expected jkdrozd

That's great! I never ported anything other than a stock valve so I am eager to see how your setup does. Perhaps the limiting factor with my valve test was what Cam suggested. He suggested the air flow was limited to flow in the rest of the system, not the valve.
Full lockout is basically not possible in the valve design. The older 30 rnd mags will allow for a longer valve stem though. Even so as soon as the valve leaves the rear seal gas begins to be released. It pushes the bb, and goes down the feed channel. The problem is there is not enough time for the the valve stem to "lockout" airflow before the bb leaves the barrel. Something you might try is putting a weaker valve spring in. The theory behind that is that it will not take as much energy to move the valve forward therefore moving it faster, and not allowing as much air to escape down the feed channel. That's what I discussed with Mike anyway. I have never tried it. He did tell me he didn't even use a spring to make his fastest shots. | ||||

hmmmnnnnn,, i have two MT valves,,, was more looking for thefull lock out during the full auto fire as well as reducing the blowback down the barrel, will be giving my appaisal upon this upgrade, along witha jds 62CC 3000PSI input tank , with regulator set to output of 1400psi,,,may drop down to 1200PSI after seeing this post,,,im sure that 1200PSI output from HPA will be a big step up from a 20ounce CO2 tank that freezes up,,,,so, results after all said n down,,,, using 18volts 10 1.5 volt N sized batteries along with another two 1.5 volt lithium watch batteries,,,perfect adjustment of the selonoid as well the duration of the hit from selonoid should give me some xtra power,,,,,plus I customize each mag head and hog out and port, and polish the insides...i match the mag head to the mag body,,,,smooth out n take away the corners inside to increase volume,,,when the stock co2 mount is still in clip, it restricts the airflow alot imho, and with pistol packers straight thru bulk adapter, you eliminate that part of problem,,leaving the portin only,,,,lookin for 10000fps on full auto early model drozd bumblebee 661,,,guessing 2003 or near that

Crucify me if you want, but I need to put this out there. If you bought a MT valve from me, and are not happy with the performance please return it for a full refund. I started selling them before I tested them going on the sellers word, and previous threads in this forum. Shame on me. Here are my results. The valve is not bad, and it's good to have a spare because it's the weakest link. I didn't mean to mislead anyone about fps gain. Please keep in mind this is only one test on my rig,

i finally took my mag apart and installed the MT valve,,,you sent two versions,a bored out one , and a stock one, my stock one may be bored out more than either,,but without the lockout i lose out,,, curious to see what gains happen,,,i installed the hogged out MT valve, ten fresh N series Durecell 1.5 volts & two lithium watch batteries 1.5 volts each total of 18 volts,,need to order a tank & regulator from jdair ,,, and reflex site n good to go...going to get the 1200psi output unless people think i should go upto 1400psi output ,,,im getting a 3000psi tank ,,forgot the size,,,,but that in itself should be huge coming off CO2 , never mind the valve, the modified mag i made, viddie once i have it all together,,,which will be pretty soon,,,oh, with the bored valve, i had to use emery cloth to make the pin fit in the older mag head,,the stk mt fit, n my old drozd valve fit ,,all good now tho ,,i will be firing soon gonna order the tank n reg within the week
drozd all day oh check this, i found two new 30 rd mags , fresh in the brown paper, two of them yeeee, so i will have three modified mags to run with, better than only one,,, and i have the straight thru to mag head bulk adapters n an xtra 1200rof board in stk, ready for fun | ||||
