Re: My 'racist' rant

Well from my POV it's a little more dynamic than that. We are dealing with it again where I live. The textile industry used to be booming here. The plants built housing for the workers, and charged them minimal rent while maintaining the infrastructure. When the industry went overseas they fired everyone. A whole community built around a single industry was destroyed over night. It's been a thirty year recovery, and they now want to pull the same shit here again on a much larger scale. The only reason they want to do this is to give their selves job security. The fact is the county I live in has way too many chief's moving in, and not enough indian's along with taxes that are double what they should be for favoring industry. Going to meetings here is just a way to find out how they are planning to F@#k us in the future.

Re: My 'racist' rant

The last time I did a second amendment rant around here, I used all the same false rationality the gun grabber propaganda uses to justify gun control (which is wrong, and will actually have the opposite effect than they seem to think) to suggest that a ban on the private ownership of automobiles makes far better sense. In that case, all the same excuses will actually apply, banning car ownership will prevent 100 times as many needless deaths as any gun ban ever could (and that's if hypothetically, gun control would, in fact, prevent gun related deaths), and I did the research, and had REAL numbers that were easy enough to find online.
But now, not only can I not find my own post, I can't find the sources of the statistical data I used for it, either. Is that a coincidence, or a conspiracy?
It ended with something like "sure, we'll all have to depend on public transportation, but won't you feel safer knowing some drunk driver can never come along and just run you over while you are standing on the side of the road waiting for the bus?"

My 'racist' rant

Those of you who know me should know that I'm not really a racist, I support the Constitution, but I'm going to make a very valid argument sound as racist and offensive as it is, because it needs to be. What I am really going to do is highlight offensiveness.
If we are going to start shredding the US Constitution in the name of preventing crime, gun control isn't the way to do it. If we are going to change anything, let's just exclude ethnic minorities from it! 12% of the population is responsible for 70% of the crime in this country, that's not my opinion, so there is no racism involved, that's just a statistical fact, for reasons that I'm not going to speculate on, but that's how it is. We take away ALL their rights, and round them up into gettos or labor camps, instead of forcing hard working people to pay taxes to support them just for making babies they can't support, and we prevent 70% of the crime. That's far more than gun control could ever do, even if it did actually prevent crime, which it has never been proven to do. In fact, statistically, gun control laws are always followed by a substantial increase in crime.
So tell me, how is taking away the rights of the 12% who cause 70% of the crime any more offensive than infringing our RIGHT to protect ourselves from them? Maybe you aren't qualified to answer that until you have been robbed at gunpoint by one of those 12% because the law prevented you from being able to protect yourself from them. And keep in mind that the founding fathers who composed the Constitution probably didn't intend it to include the 12% that they OWNED AS SLAVES when they wrote it, it was never meant for them in the first place. I don't think they meant the natives who they murdered to steal their land (that we now call 'our' country, lol!) from them, either.
I'd sure love to hear what Obama Bin Laden would have to say to answer that.
I used to love this country, for it's Constitution, until I found out that it just does
