I cranked mine wide open. I think testing has proven that FPS doesn't increase, but sure feels nicer. And sucks twice as much CO2.

Sorry, but the last of the 3rd run of the Mod Boards has sold out.

It may be awhile before another run is done but who can tell for certain.

are any mod boards still avalible?

has anybody ever had soleniod timming issues? or problems with the soleniod hammer firing all the way?

The timing of the solenoid by which it governs the time btw hammer striking the firing pin valve and when the hammer retracts thus reguating amount of time co2 is open to flow is the function of the potentiometer.

The firepowerand co2 use are regulated by adjustments of the pot and solenoid space set in the factory to give us 90 shots at a reasonable power. Small 1/4 to 1/8th back up turns ccw will change that factory number at the cost of more co2 use with a small but often impressive increase in the perceived power and velocity.

There is a sweet solenoid spot where the co2 use is greater but the performance of the drozd appears dramatically increased and to a degree it is. At this point there is no other way to shoot except with a bulk system.

eta: oil the pin and solenoid hammer shaft often an see the difference

MUCHO GRACIAS !!! to OPP ("Dr. Drozd") and to Postmaster.

I love the board. It does exactly what I had hoped and significantly increases the "wow factor" (and the fun factor) of the Drozd. For those of you "sitting on the fence" concerning this mod, I have one thing to say ........
Just do it!

OPP's video is quite a show. I hope to get mine performing as his does and this forum is a great place to learn more about how to do it.

Can't thank you guys enough.

Postmaster's Mod Boards have gone a bit faster than I had anticipated but we still have exactly 8 of the 24 left as of this writing.
