Re: Drozd

When I looked at my circuit board I didn't see anywhere obvious where to mount the resistor. In other words, there is nothing that jumps to your eye saying..... "Yeap, that's where it goes"......As far as I know there is no one other than the russian guy who has done this (if I am wrong, please reply to this). I also remember seeing a picture of the card with the resistor soldered to it. I thought it was in the russian guy's website, but I just looked yesterday and couldn't find it. By the way, I wonder if he fried his gun, as he has not updated his website since the first time I was in it, about three months ago..................Umhhh, makes me think about the ability of that solenoid to handle the extra 300 rpm.

I know there are no full auto versions of the Drozd, due to the nature of the Co2, which limits its ability for sustained full auto fire, at least with 12 gr powerlets. I do know for a fact that there are semi-auto only versions of the Drozd for countries were anything auto is a no-no.
If somebody modifies the magazine to accept compressed air from a constant air source, such as a dive tank or air compressor, then maybe full auto would be desirable and this would probably take a jumper from somewere to somewere in the circuit board. Otherwise, unless you are ready to spend sometime reverse engineering the card, release and pull the trigger at exactly 0.61 sec. intervals, and you have sustained full auto.

Re: Drozd

I looked at my circuit board, but I didn't see what the russian was talking about with the 50K resistor. There are several surface mount micro resistors that look as if their values have been blacked out (I'm guessing in an effort to prevent reverse engineering)
I think it would be more better to triple the 300rpm setting to 900 rpm. 450 is marginally useful, but 300 rpm is just useless.

Is there such a thing as a Full auto Drozd?
What i mean is i here they sell a different version in Europe,is this correct?
How well does the soldering of a 50k resistor work on the 450 mode?
Any success stories out there.
