As stated below by others, the wording of this e-bay post is to keep it from getting kicked off of the auction board. Ebay is very PC. It certainly looks nice, the orange tip was probably taken off of an "airsoft" or even a cap gun, again to keep it legal with Ebay rules. If you want further examples of ebay "PC" nonsense, type "AR-15 magazine" and look at all the postings of '10 round' magazines (no more than 10 rds per Ebay rules) that certainly hold more than 10 rounds. Anyway, it could have been a grey market Drozd that was imported from Russia by an individual. I attempted to do that unsuccessfully, but maybe somebody got lucky. If they spoke Russian and took it apart in their luggage, I bet it could be possible. The other possiblity is a returning military member who bought a Drozd in Europe swapped out the the semi-auto board for a full auto one.(EAA sells Drozd circuit boards for $75 ) I talked to the distributor of Drozds in the U.S., we will never see Black Drozds here, too much concern about accidental shootings and lawsuits.

Hmmmm...Arent the black Drozds semi only? Or did they import them for a while with auto burst? If he's done a
sh*t load of mods and the gun works fine then his asking price of 399. isnt a bad price.

Not possible. Airsofts are 6mm caliber, Drozds are 4.5mm.
Similar to trying to put a 12 gauge shell into a 20 gauge shotgun. It won't happen.

Don't see anything wrong with this auction. There are metal 6mm BB's currently available for all spring or AEG airsofts thus making them BB guns as well. Ebay is a very anti-gun auction and is retarded with what they think should be sold. Just run a search on Crosman or Daisy and see how many BB guns pop up. This Drozd is labeled as an airsoft and marked with orange up front to comply with BS Ebay rules. It is the nicest one I have seen for sale out there. I think the yellow bumble bees look like a power tool instead of an adult air gun. The black one is how Baikal designed them to be. This one in question is a work of Art.

This seems to be a ploy to sell the gun as something other than a BB gun. The ad says it is .177 but that is not the size of airsoft. I believe the gun for sale is a normal BB gun and not an airsoft gun. I am not sure what ebay regulations there are for selling these.
