i have a drozd and it rocks! does somebody really make a 24 inch barrel? can i buy one? the pic with the rotary looking mag looks cool...but i'm a grown-up and i think you kids are yankin my dog.

hey jim c,
at the very least maybe you could shoot the camera with your drozd, at least that way there would be a release from the action "of killing your camera" and if you have another cam to tape the incident, well then it's advertising your product & that's what it's all about right take care, jimk oh, one more time.... I say shoot the camera, and with AT least One full burst too | ||||

Yes they are, and I'm going to post a more realistic mock suppressor and a whole new barrel system as soon as I get this friggen camera to work! I want to get feedback before making more of them.

Here's an update:
Increasing my batch size from 25 to 100 has really slowed things up. I work on them a little every evening, but lately my weekends have been taken by family matters. I really need two or three good weekends at 8 hour days to finish. Then off to be heat treated and hot blued. I realize many of you have been waiting a long time and I appreciate your patience. You won't be disappointed. I'm committed to getting them out to you. I have $2000 of my own money invested in materials alone! I would post an interesting feature that I have added to the barrel kits if I could get my camera to talk to my computer! Thanks again to all. | ||||

My barrels are the best available. IMO They are superior to the original Drozd barrel because they are hardened on the breech end for wear resistance. They are professionally machined to the exact dimensions of the Drozd.
By the time you buy a barrel plus shipping, the proper die and holder, and the proper center drill you will have as much money in your home made barrel as I charge for mine which are also hot blued and hardened. You see I was corret in saying that the other picture wasnt real, if you look closely youll see the textures on the ABS a smoothes out, the muzzle looks different, the holes in that awsome shrouded barrel/heat shield are all blacked out and like I said te saddowings differet, BUT Ill gladly applogize now ive seen thoses lines coming down to hold up your Drozd so here goes...... I assure you sir that it is real and when I get back in town I'll take a picture of it any way you would like and graciously accept your appologies. That magazine is one of two prototypes and so far it has worked flawlessly. in the meantime look carefully at the these pictures and you can see where I had it hanging by monofilament fishing line from the stock and just in front of the perforated heat shield. The picture you refer to was enhanced by OPP and the string lines were removed. He also added his own sights to see what other versions would look like. Read page two of this thread and you will see testimony from someone who has seen the magazine.......................

Just to let you all know......
the picture of the Drozd with the drum magazine aint real Im not saying the invention aint real Just aplying to the picture. ( I can tell from the shading that the hole picture has been adapted and manipulated on a computer ) Personaly ill be well imprest when i see a picture of it laying on a carpeted floor or even some explanation to how it feeds! that is awesome what youve done with your drozd....im currently saving for one and plan to do some modifications like yours. im inspired by your picture since this looks much like the sketch of what my dream drozd would look like that i drew when i first saw a stock drozd. i saw it and i was like "yay!, its a dream!"
