I have a Vintage Pneumatics version of the Feltman and it cannot shoot .177 bbs. It's bad news starting at the muzzle. The barrel bore is about .160". It, and the Feltmans, were designed to shoot #2 lead shot which is .150" diameter. Some people have modified the guns to shoot .177, but you won't do it with all the original parts.
The internal bb feed tube was copper, but I don't know the exact spec. It may be 1/4" OD with a .190" id, so it may fit, but even that is iffy. There are other passages within the firing mechanism that I'm pretty sure are NOT large enough for .177 ammo. They are a lot of fun to shoot! TBK

Hi all,
I have a line on a Feltman that I'm thinking about buying but want it all 100% vintage. I know that the Feltman Carnival guns used a smaller shot. I am looking at one that will shoot regular size copper bb's. Can the vintage guns fit the regular size bb's without being modified?
