Thanks for the advice. The reason I requested 1/2 *20 thread is that all my lead dust collectors have that same thread.

NBK, Sir:
Whatcha doin' way down here on the Discussion Board? Come on up to the Drozd section. That is where the action is. There are a lot of guys that have a large knowledge base on the Board. Any of them will be more than happy to answer your questions if they can, including myself. You can write to me at vanfow7@open.org directly as I have a bunch of pictures that might help. Feel free. The standard stock barrel device on the Drozd that holds the two halves of the gun together has a metric thread. It is .589 inches in diameter. Tactical Innovations has a replacement adapter that I've ordered before and it is well made and allows attachments of any standard devices with 1/2 X 28 threads, i.e. AR15/M16 stuff. Go here: http://www.tacticalinc.com/ac/acdrozd28-1.html I've made several barrel brakes and the like that utilize the stock Drozd barrel device including some using set screws. They work fine but you have to have that .589 inside diameter to attach them to the barrel device. There is precious little room on the end of the Drozd due to the proximity of the gun's angled upper slide frame. The Airguns of Arizona adapter may be overkill and simply may not fit. The ones with the two set screws certainly would not attach properly. Try moving to the Drozd section above and ask your question there and see what you get. We nearly missed y'all down here. Good luck. Olpistolpacker | ||||
