gives me some ideas for my bb gun, it will be smg style, sorta like the calico m111 but have a top loading clip (actually a hopper disguised as a clip) and co2 tank right off the back of the "bolt" plunger thing, like what sgt pepper drew for me, i will maybe use the trigger valve from an old paint spraygun for my trigger, i think ive pretty much got it figured out what i am going to do, oh and PS your gun looks absolutly freakin awesome dude, i want to see videos of this thing in action!

I tried remotes but I don't like the cumbersome feeling and not very realistic. I like the bottle on the back or anywhere on the gun. St. Pepper's drawing with the bottle built into the stock looks cool. Yours with a short barrel might be more fun with a remote. Has it started spitting bbs yet? I tried to shoot my gbb 15 in barrel over the weekend with a remote and I had no control. My bolt travels 3 inches and is 1 inch in dia. of solid steel. A lot of mass on the move. Put the bottle on the back and great grouping at 150 ft.
I use airsoft mags also, but use steel 6mm and lead #04 buck which is .241. I may try a conversion to .177. .177 bbs are cheaper. Now to figure out helium and an electric solenoid instead of blowback. HAHA

Thanks. Actually the mag is an airsoft magazine converted to shoot standard BB's. I posted how to do this about a week ago. I posted in the Drozd discussion area about using an airsoft mag for the "holy grail of magazines" for the Drozd and people didn't really think it would work..there were sceptics...disbeleivers etc. So I decided to go ahead and convert one for my own needs; and it works very well. Olpistolpacker had made a mag that works pretty much the same way an airsoft mag (hi cap) works and this got me to thinking about using an actual airsoft mag instead of making my own. The copper tube in the photo is actually used as a means of beefing up the BB barrel for extra support. There is going to be a faux barrel heat sheild over the entire barrel assembly which will hide that thing; it will be painted black so the copper color will not stand out. I actually like guns to be loud...

Thanks. I am going to use Co2 w/a remote set up. A tank will screw on to the rear to act as a butt stock if I ever want to shoot it like a rifle. You guessed it...it is a spring loaded knob to catch the mag; works really well in fact.

Good job. What power source are you going to use? Remote?
Is that a spring loaded knob on the side of the mag to release it?

You guys are not going to believe this! I just now went outside to check on the upper receiver to see if the primer was dry (refinished the upper receiver, didn't like old paint job...), and found that a bird had sh*t on it!! How freaking unbeleivable is that!!? Talk about having to re-redo a paint job!!

I would like to make a correction on a statement I had made: The trigger frame is a 'KINGMAN COMPACT A' and not the previously thought Tippman Mod 98 grip assembly.
I did say it was a Tippman and I was wrong. So, if anyone purchased a mod 98 grip to convert to full auto I'm sorry.

Here is a photo of the lower and upper parts painted along with the adjustable sights added. The mag well works great and has a release that allows the mag(s) to fall out.
