750 dollarss is a lot of money for some bent sheet metal and pipe, welded together.
I would not waste a penny on that thing. Get something real.

i could swallow the price a lot easier if loading the ammo was a simple as pooring round balls into a reservoir, the time needed to load either one of these is a little excessive

Given the success of the Air Ordnance SMG-22, I'll bet the price will drop even more.
The Tippmanns are sharp people, made their gun belt fed, no casings to chase or lose, and started with a tried and true design based off their paintball guns. Even $750 is one expensive crapshoot, given that NOBODY that bought one has posted anything anywhere, if they've sold ANY. Myself, I was on the wire between the GMG and the SMG-22, the belt feed was the tipping point. Having shot 9mm and .45ACP SMG's, I know how long 50 rounds will last--NOT LONG. Being able to link belts for serious shooting, along with a speed loader, was the frosting on the cake, IMO. Murph109

Apparently y'all are not alone. I just got this e-mail from them:
"We still have a few GMG prototypes left from this very special pre-production batch. And we've decided to offer a killer sale on the remaining airguns. 25% OFF! FREE SHIPPING within the contiguous 48! This is a huge discount. Grab one of the last few airguns at: www.fullyautomaticairgun.com/buynow#addtocart Thanks and have a great one!" They only had a few to begin with!!!!

Interesting huh! But, No I have not. I have said it before, ...An AWFUL lot of work, and a long time to load that pellet gun for only seconds of shooting fun. Sucks to have to pick up all those "spent shells" to reload. If you could buy loaded belts for it.... ...hhhmmmnnn. ---Cam
