++++++++++++++++++++++++ V1.3.9 has just been released today. Here's a run-down of new features and improvements: + Warnings ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now "warn" users. They will get an e-mail confirming the warning, and the number of warnings they have received is counted in your Admin Center. When they receive a specified number of warnings (default: 3), they are either banned, e-mail banned, deleted, or all 3. + Member Screening ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Member Screening can now be applied per-forum. This is a new option which enhances the Private Forum features - it will allow users tyo request access to a Private Forum on your board. To set this up for a forum, click on "Edit Forums", then "Edit Settings" in your Admin Center. There is a new option for "Allow Application Requests". + IP Comparison ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now easily see known IPs for a specific user, in "Edit Users". You can also view a list of users which have the same IP address, by clicking "Show Identical Users" in your Admin Center. + Delete All Posts ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now delete all the posts on your board which were made by a specific user. Click on "Edit Users" in your Admin Center. + New BbCodes ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Some new BbCodes include: + marquee - makes the text inside scroll across the screen. + font - change the font of your message. + glow - Make a section of text which glows. + table - create a table in your message. There will be further explanations of these, and exactly how they work, on our BbCode help page later today. As ever, all of these new BbCodes can be disabled by your Admin. + Delete Attachment ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now delete attachments directly from the "View Attachments" screen in your Admin Center. + Reply Options ++++++++++++++++++++++++ There are new options on the "Add Reply" screen, which will allow you to stay in the thread if you have set in your User CP to return to the forum after replying, and also an option for moderators to Lock the thread as they reply. + Online Profanity ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now choose to make the Who's Online be screened by the Profanity Filter, so you can filter out words fom the usernames which are shown. + T-shirts ++++++++++++++++++++++++ To celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are offering our "Celebrating one year of being the best" limited edition t-shirts. apart from that, i have to say i keep getting surprised each and evrytime by you people, i am really really thrilled for the services u provide and the dedication u put into this. so much that im getting a guilty conscience not paying for the forums im using. so basically in 2 weeks time im going to upgrade and give u people the money that u really do deserve for the efforts u put in to this. |
