++++++++++++++++++++++++ V1.4 has just been released today. Here's a run-down of new features and improvements: + User Donations ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Users can now donate credit towards your board, helping you pay for fixed or variable plan service. To enable this option, click on "Edit Board Settings" in your Admin Center, and uncheck the "Disable Donations" box. + Newsfader Options ++++++++++++++++++++++++ There are now a variety of new styles of fader available, including scrolling, bouncing etc. Click on "News Fader" in your Admin Center to set up a fader. + Edited By ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now disable the "Edited By" which appears when a user edits their post. You can also choose to disable it only when a moderator edits the post. To enable either of these options, click on "Edit Board Settings" in your Admin Center. + Favourite Emoticons ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, if you are using the "Click Box" to show emoticons, you can now choose "favourite emoticons", which will be the ones that are shown in the mini-box to the right on New Thread pages. The rest will only show on the full list. + EC Preview ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Admins, you can now preview your Easy Customization changes before actually changing them. + File Hosting ++++++++++++++++++++++++ The File Hosting area for fixed/variable boards has been improved - you can now upload multiple files at once. + CountDown ++++++++++++++++++++++++ A new option has been added to the CountDown screen - you can now have it automatically make an announcement when the CountDown time is reached. Click on "CountDown" in your Admin Center to enable this feature. + Other Enhancements ++++++++++++++++++++++++ + You will now get a notice if you try to post a new thread with no subject. + Announcements are now editable. + "Delete old backups" added. + A different forum re-ordering system has been added for older browsers. + Custom fields will now transfer when you move a thread to a different forum. + "Reset Forum Order" added - set the posts into the original order. + BbCodes will now allow you to select some text, and put the BbCodes around that text, rather than after it. + A number of bug fixes. There have also been some major backend changes with this release, but you shoudln't notice a thing different. |

Go into the Board's Easy Customization and increase the size of the Large Text there-it defaults to a smller size then what you might want, so try that and see what you think.

I have something to complain about. Whenever I go anyhwhere on the Best Boards homepage, it automatically redirects me in 10 seconds. It's really annoying.
