Would be a great addition to an already great product. Another sugestion is to have the names of the Emoticons popup when the mouse is over them when you are creating a message. I.E right now when I am writing this message, if I hold the mouse pointer over a BbCode I get a tooltip with a description. Howabout the same for the Emoticons.  No worries if these can't be done. Just thought they would be liked.

Welcome to Best Boards Suggestion forum! I think we have a 'Display Personal Pic in Profile' already on the to do list, but if somehow it isn't on there it is now!  Right BbBoy? :smash:  And I think that idea of adding the names of the emoticons is a really good one! Thanks for bringing up something we could add like that. :thumb: Thank you for helping :smash: squash that bug today that you found with uploading files with a '.' in the filename-all it takes to fix bugs is someone to help us find one that needs attention.

Having great fun learning all the tricks and stuff.:smash:I know i'm a free user of your board at the moment, but plans are on the way for my next site in a month or two and i'm planning to design it around your board system. Yes its a chat site.  I will require uploading of files and will become a paying member.  At this rate your going to start hating me. While writing this post its all in plain text. When clicking on the Emoticons it inserts a tag into the plain text. Only when you have finished and post/preview your post do you get to see the Emoticons. Well, ive just come accross a Browser Based WYSIWYG HTML Web page Editor. This lets you write like in this text box but as html. It alows the insertion of the Emoticons image and would also allow other cool stuff like fonts, colors, justification of the text ect. This is something I haven't seen before on a message board and would be a great step forward. I should be on a commition... You probably have too much other things to do, but it might be worth looking into. I'll even give you a link to the site that prompted this great idea.  ActivEdit WYSIWYG HTML Editor [48 clicks] This site also has a domo of the program. Didn't look at the price of it though!. There are probably loads of other variations of this product out there. :thumb: Well sorry for bugging you with all these ideas  I don't mean too....They just keep a comming... |
