WebTV compatible? ( 10:33:23 SunJul 21 2002 )

Hello,

A friend of mine wishes to join our board, he got the password authorization and all, but he's not able to use the board - each time he tries to, a white page appears. Does it have something to do with the fact that he uses WebTV? Does WebTV support cookies, javascript, and all the things needed to use Bbboy.net's boards?

Thank you for your answers.

Do you have guest posting enabled? If you so I think they should be able to post-if you don't then I am not sure-BbBoy can answer this better-but I would think if you DO have guest viewing and posting allowed your friend with webtv should be able to read and post as a guest. (Just a note about guest posting-you CAN make a guest username-have them just type it in the name spot and that way you'd know it was him for sure.)

I have webtv- I had no problems setting up the board, accessing any of the boards here or anything else. I did have a problem logging in.- I think that's because it uses a higher version of javascript than webtv supports.
Webtv supports cookies, javascript up to aa certain version.
If he sees a white screen, tell him to try reloading the page. If he has an old model (extinct version lol) classic that may be his problem. The old classic has been pretty much updated out of usefullness.
