Sorry but here goes:

1 - We can no longer PM from a Member's Profile? Is that intentional or not? It's easier to PM right from there rather than have to cruise the Memberlist IMHO. Also the Member Profile page is the standard BBboy look not the theme I have on my site....

2 - How can I get the New Posts Icon to show up on the main page if there are posts in the subforums? And also to show the last post in any subforums as the last post in the Main forum (does that make sense?) We have 4 main forums that look like they're empty because they don't show the subforum posts. You can go look if that will make my question more clear

1. I hadn't realised that was missing also, I'll ask BbBoy to add that back as well as the date the member joined the board.

The template for a user profile will change to the board's as soon as that user edits their profile. This is also a problem we are considering, to see if there is any way this can be corrected. :smile:

If not, it will just be a question of letting everyone know that they need to edit their profile - actually it's only necessary to save changes on the edit profile page, no need to actually add anything. :smile:

2. I'm not too familiar with this myself, but I believe there are various options available to determine exactly what displays and where. Check out the Edit Forums and see if you can find some additional settings there. :smile:

I tried using the Parent Forum option with Parent New Post, but for some reason that indicated new post in any forum in the Forum Category, not either subforum

Well there are 3 ways to have your sub-forums:

(1) Not visible on the main page at all

(2) "Soft" so that they are just shown in small print next to the main forum title

(3)"Full" - so that they shown in full, just like a normal forum.

From what I understand, the enhancement is intended to work with the "Soft" option.

If you have them set to "Full", I suggest you change them to "Soft" and try it again. :smile:

If there's still a problem, let us know and we'll check it out for you. :smile:

OK...Then I guess I've found a bug...I thought I had posted this earlier, btu I guess not....when I use Parent New Post the New flag goes up on the parent forum for any posts made in the Category. Even when there are no new posts in the subforums

Hmm, that's odd - I just tried this out and the new flag came up in the correct place for me.

Perhaps there are some unread posts in the forum you mentioned? If there are and you haven't "marked forum read", the new flag will still remain on the main page for that forum. :smile:
