'Notify' going to old address ( 21:59:08 SatJan 10 2004 )

Several weeks ago, I had the email on my account changed, but now when I click notify, the notification emails, as well as the new post emails, are still being sent to my old email account.

Is there something that I need to do or change on my board to fix this?

There is no way currently to change your email address on the control panel but you can email support@bbboy.net and we will gladly do it for you. Use the email you signed up with, add your username and password so we can tell it really is you and then the new address you want to use and we will change it for you.
Try doing this again,Shessar

If you can forward one of these alerts to us at the email chickenlady posted? Include full headers and we'll see if there is something we can do. Also mentioning what board(s) the alerts are from.

I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear in explaining my problem. I have already had bbboy support change my email address, recieved a response that it was changed, can see in my profile that it has been changed. Despite the fact that the change seems to have been made, all of my notification emails are still going to my old email address.

BbAdmin, I'm not sure what you mean by 'full headers'. Sorry if I am a bit technically challanged. If you could explain, I would gladly forward a notification email to support.

:thankyou:

Usually in your email settings/preferences you can have an option to "Show All Headers" "Show Partial Headers" "Show No Headers" type of feature. You want to have it show all headers so try checking in the email program (or if web based email, log in and check around the options areas, like editing settings or something like User Preferences.

I understood that you had had your email changed, it's just if you are getting alerts or notifications or both at the old emai, forwarding one to us with full headers can help us track the trouble and resolve it so that you get email alerts, notifications at the current email address associated with your username.

If it makes a difference...email notifications from these support boards are going to my new address, but those from my boards are going to my old address.

I don't know if that info will help you track down the problem...hope so.
