Problems in the Admin Center ( 09:11:43 WedFeb 25 2004 )

This just started happening this week,
I will be in the Admin center........no specific action
ex: Modifying a forum or easy customization

When I hit save the changes it pops me back out to the main board. It does not save the changes.

I only had this happen to me once when I replied to a post.:help:

Do you you processing screens enabled? If not enable them and try again to see what error it displays. If you get one copy it and reply so we can see what the trouble is. Along with a detailed post on what you tried to do when the error came up. Whether forum specific or whole board easy customizations, let us know and BbBoy can take a look.

It is in the Admin area........any area non-specific and also I just tried to move a thread from the lounge to baord archives and it booted me back to the main page. I went back in and the thread was still there. The second try I was able to do it.
I'll look to see what you may be talking about in my settings.
I shall be back. LOL

I just went in and enabled......"show all".
I did have it set at "fatal"
Now just to see quickly if a error screen came up, I randomly did search in the log, on the third search it just popped me out to the main page of the board.
I did not get a processing screen or an error at all.

It should be fine now. I had no trouble making a serverside backup and editing the template. There were some errors in there that probably were throwing your browser off that I have fixed now. I see you'd edited the template yesterday so I think something was overlooked in there and that it was giving you trouble. I would test codes on the BbSample board so you can see if it causes some toruble before you end up adding it to the board.

This site has auseful HTML Validator you can use to check your codes to correct any other errors that are in the template. I am sure I missed a few and with all those third party scripts it's probably a good idea to run the main board page through the validator to see what it finds as errors.

The link to the validator is:

You're very welcome I_Surrender_All. Here is another one if you would like a second validator to check codes through.

http://validator.w3.org/

Don't feel bad about reporting something, you never know if something might be wrong on our end and by reporting it that helps us pin down trouble quickly.
