We want to let eveyrone know that there are a couple of major problems at this time that we are working to resolve. If you have added a signature, avatar or changed your password you will need to change the password back or the system will not recognize you. The main server is not updating user account information so updates are not migrating to the other servers. This means that PM notices and the other above mentioned problems are things we are aware of and if we could fix it quickly it would have been done already.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this problem. The other big issue has to do with registration. If you used Dynamic Registration and new members registered while it was enabled over the past 48 hours, unfortunately those names might have gotten a password but can't log in. This is something that is compounded by the above problem so we would ask that anyone using Dynamic Registration would uncheck that in their board settings and any members who registered while it was enabled to post here in another thread I will open for the purpose of fixing the usernames.

PM notices and Signatures are still not updating, but Avatars and Personal Icons are. User Account information is migrating so that people who registered and can log in here at support on the bb server should be able to visit boards that are on other servers that they want to be part of. We appreciate your patience as we continue trying to pin down where the trouble is. :smile:

All servers are back to normal except for Gold which BbBoy is still looking into the server migration problem. Thank you all very much for your patience and understanding as we continue working through this series of problems. If you are having a problem with a username being unable to access a board post in the pinned thread and we can fix it manually for you. :smile:

Updated to include the newest information on the frost situation from March 31st through April1st. There was some irretriveable data loss on the frost server. We tried to recover the lost data and were unsuccessful. So if your board lost forum names, rename them and you should be fine. If your forum lost Settings like Easy Customization settings or template contents in some way, you should be able to restore it now.

If you do not already have a text document of the template information (HTML, CSS etc.) then you have to recreate it all over. If you did not have a serverside backup that was valid and current enough to save posts during that window of time are going to have to work around it manually restoring the settings that were altered. There was no way we could recover some of the data lost because it was corrupted and we apologize to all of you that we were unable to restore everything from a daily backup.

The probelm with paid boards reverting is not something specific to the frost server so please post the board plan and URL to a board that reverted but should have credit in the new thread pinned here. BbBoy and I were working all day yesterday trying to recover the lost data and some things were able to come back and others simply were lost. We apologize for the inconvience of the problems on frost and are taking messures to prevent such an occurrance from happening again.

If you have forums that the total post counts are wrong on the main board page, post in the tech forum and I can fix that for you. Any other problems you may be having with your board's functioning need to be posted in the Tech forum here and we will work with each issue as quickly as we can. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding with us as we keep working to take care of problems admins are having. :smile:
