Bandwidth stats? ( 02:06:14 TueNov 9 2004 )

Board Plan: Variable

Hi, we have moved to a V2 hosted site, and I want to make sure I am purchasing the board size/bandwidth that is appropriate.

I can make a good estimate on the board size I need, but I am unsure on the monthly bandwidth. Is there any way to look at our bandwidth usage over the last few years and just tell me what the max monthly usage was?

Thanks, that will really help.

Hi dianimal

You can view how much bandwidth your board uses in the 'View Bandwidth' screen in your boards Admin Center

OK, I guess I don't understand "Bandwidth" well enough.... can you help me?

*********************************************
Total Bandwidth Used: 900456986 bytes (879352 KB or 858 MB)

HTTP Bandwidth Used This Month: 610355905 bytes (596050 KB or 582 MB)

Email Bandwidth Used This Month: 13415777 bytes (13101 KB or 12 MB)

*****************************************

So, does this mean that if I get a plan with more than 900 MB that I should be OK?

(Forgive me, I'm just not a computer/software person.... and I'm old... when I learned how to program it was in FORTRAN... with punch cards!)

You know what? I think this is a "never mind".... I just checked the plan we are getting and it includes 20 GB of bandwidth.... that seems like it's going to be OK to me.

:thankyou:

It depends  For example, if your board was created a year ago and has only used 858 MB, 20GB of bandwidth a month should be more than enough  I think you'd only need to worry about more bandwidth if your board was created only a few days ago
