? about borders ( 21:22:21 TueApr 30 2002 )

I've been trying to get the "line" around my tables on my message board to disappear by setting the cell spacing at "0" and the table border to " 0 px" to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks much.

I only see borders are the top 2, but you could try changing the "table border" or "table background" to the same colour as the cell colours.. That would make it invisable. :smile:

I was doing that -- but that table background color is what ends up getting picked up for the background color for the "message" composition section and other parts of the board, and I found it was darker than I wanted for those other backgrounds. I thought if the border setting was "0" that no line should be apparent. Also, the borders are showing up on the top 2 and the bottom one ("perform action on selected forum") .

Ah, it's because you have a "Table background" in there. That's the background for all tables. And it shows as the outline border on those top/bottom tables too. :smile: What you can do to get rid of it there is to either remove the "table background" in your Easy Customization, or maybe try something like this in your header:

Code:

table {border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px;}

Or a mix and match of those... :smile:
