Having to scroll over to read some posts ( 19:09:34 SatSep 23 2006 )

Board Plan: Variable

What happens that causes some messages, or posts, to be so wide on the screen that you have to scroll over to read the whole thing? We have this problem on our board once in awhile. I've noticed it does this when someone posts a picture that's too big and if I go in and resize the pic and repost it, it takes care of the problem. But sometime it doesn't involve the posting of a picture.....some posts are just exceptionally wide while others are "normal". Just wondering what causes this?
(I hope I'm making sense.....I don't explain things too well sometimes!)
Anyway, thank in advance for any help/advice!

Pics can stretch a screen as can having a long line of text or too many "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" like that can make a screen stretch. If you like I can take a look at a post if you link to it here and I can tell you what it was that made the screen stretched.

Well, actually, the post in which a member stated she was having problems with this is one that you have to scroll to the right to read the entire post. So, I'll post the link to it.

Any idea why it's doing this?? Thanks!

We may have figured it out. One of the members who had posted the thread in question had an exceptionally long glittery signature.....when she deleted her sig, the thread went back to "normal size". Thanks anyway!! I do appreciate you're looking into it for us!!

I am glad you found the source of the problem, signatures can be a reason a thread stretches and I went to check just now and it's looking great. I love your banner, the dog is just adorable. If you need anything else just let me know.
