Is there a list of CSS classes used in your boards? ( 10:17:07 MonMay 13 2002 )

In previous discussions with you, you indicated that you were working on a definitive list of all the css classes used in your coding. I can guess most of them but some still escape me!

Is the full list now available?

Thanks.

Graham

Great service (as always!)

Sorry about the duplicate posting. I pressed the refresh button at an inappropriate time

Board Plan: IE 6.0

Your list helped me go a couple of steps further forward.

However if you look at my board, I have been unable to set the text in some of the navy "strips" to my preferred colour of white.

(I don't need to differentiate between visited/non-visited links)

Can you help (sorry if i am being thick!)

Graham

Hm, you could try something like this:

Code:

a.settingsbar {color:white;}

It's just the links which are still blue there, so that should set them white.. :smile:

No joy I'm afraid. It didn't make any difference.

I was surprised that you said it was just the links that are the wrong colour. For example the word "Welcome" is black on my screen and all the entries in the blue strips of my "Help" forum are in dark colours.

Any other ideas?

Sorry to be a pain!

Oh! I think I know the answer to that! (Especially since I had the same problem.)

Check your Easy Custimization settings and make sure that you don't have colors defined for the forums list background color and settings bar background color. Even when you have Easy Customization disabled, these colors are still applied.

Let me know if I'm right. I like to think I learn from my mistakes! :smile:

Ah, you needed a period before "settingsbar" in your CSS there. :smile: I've put that in, and the regular text shows white. The links still don't though, it's probably all or nothing for link colours, unnless they're assigned their own class (which the one on the Welcome, username line isn't). You might want to change all the links' colours, to something thaty matches both the navy and the regular background:

Code:

a {color:#ffffff;}

(Change the colour to something that you like :smile:)

Also, gracef could be right, check your EC settings, the ones that are put in EC with HTML are still used even if disabled.

I tried all suggestions .... some got near to putting things right .... but not quite. Ho hum.

So I went back a stage and redesigned things so that it didn't matter (good idea bbboy)!

Of course (isn't it always the case) the thing looks different in Netscape but i can live with that. (See my new post aboout AOL aaarrrggghhh!!!)

Thanks for your interest and help.
