HTML help ( 21:01:00 TueMay 14 2002 )

hey i have a question. I'm making my welcome page and i need help with a pull down list. I want to be able to pull it down and select one and when i select it, it takes me straight to a certain link. If you can, just show me one and i'll figure out the rest from there. If its any help, this is what i'm inputing
Code:

<p><B>Go straight to:</b>
<Select name="Choose One">
<option>Select one
<option>Announcements
<option>General Discussion
<option>Advertising
</select>

you get the idea. Just tell me how to get to http://bb.bbboy.net/smurfdudesboard-viewforum?forum=19 by selecting the announcements button in the pulldown. I should be able to do the rest on my own after i get the first one.

You should be able to modify something like:

Code:

<select onChange="document.location =
'http://bb.bbboy.net/smurfdudesboard-viewforum?forum=' +
this.options[this.selectedIndex].value">
<option value=1>forum 1
<option value=53>Another forum
etc
</select>

:smile:
