Please don't post your actual password. It makes it really easy for anyone to take it over. Try using that O as a 0 or maybe copy and paste it directly from the email into the log in box. Try that and see if it does the trick for you-it is my guess that the O is a 0 meaning the number 0 rather then the captial O you seem to have tried to use.

If that isn't it post again but don't repost your password ok?

Please e-mail support@bbboy.net and let us know your username. You probably have a typo in the e-mail address.

Board Plan: IE 5.5...

Hey there,

Did not see where to start new thread...

I have been a member of a board approx 1 month, no problems.

But now when I attempt to login the 'box' goes blank and...nothing. No error, no.......nothing.

Tried at work and home, no go. Checked the cookies, OK, is accepting...

???? what now ????

You were getting the "blocked login" message, I've unblocked you, if it happens again, please e-mail support@bbboy.net . Or disable the "only log me in once" option in your security settings.

To start a new tyhread, click "New Thread" in this forum.

Board Plan: IE 6.0

I note the problem when logging in using frames within IE6.

Do you happen to know why this happens? Is there a way round it (perhaps using javascript in the parent document)?

It would be extremely useful to be able to use the board within frames.

Any help would be appreciated.

Graham

Yup, the reason it happens is explained in the thread I posted a link to in my last post ( http://bb.bbboy.net/support-viewthread?forum=1&thread=381 )

You could try writing some javascript that checks the browser that's being used, and if it's IE6, redirects to the actual board url.

Re: Problems logging in? ( 09:39:09 WedJun 26 2002 )

Board Plan: IE

The moderator of the Coronation Tap Board (CaptainCori) has a problem logging in.

Clicking on the "Log in" link does nothing (no log in window ... no nothing)

She has checked that she has javascript enabled. She does not knowingly have any anti-pop-up software installed.

Any other ideas as to what might be wrong?

(I myself have no problem logging in so it must be a PC problem rather than a board problem I guess)
