V1.3.4 Released ( 22:36:55 MonJun 24 2002 ) |
+ New Features Update
V1.3.4 has just been released tonight. Here's a run-down of new features and improvements:
+ Dynamic Registration
Admins, you can now choose to have the registration page in your board's template. Click on "Edit Board Settings" in your admin center, and check the "Dynamic Registration" box to enable this option.
Additionally to Dynamic Registration, you can choose to have members who register from your board to be automatically added to your user list. To enable this, check the "Auto-Member On Registration" in Edit Board Settings. Note that it might take a couple of minutes after a person registers for them to appear on azure boards' member lists.
Admins, you now have a very simple way to customize your board. Click on "Themes" in your admin center. You have a choice of 50 pre-made themes, which will change the style of your board. Choose a theme from the drop-down menu to see a preview.
Additionally, you can use a theme in just a specific forum, click on "Edit Forums", then choose "Themes" from the drop-down menu next to the forum.
+ Thread Views
Admins, you can now choose to have the number of views of threads appear in a column in your forumlist. Click on "Edit Forums", then "Edit Settings" to enable this option.
You can re-count the number of views for all threads from your logs, by clicking "Edit Forums", then "Recount Thread Views" to do this. This will make it so that you have the correct number of views for all threads, even from threads older than today.
+ New BbGames
(This option is for fixed/variable boards only, due to the amount of bandwidth it uses)
Admins, you now have 2 more BbGames to enable on your board. They are:
+ Codemaster - The classic "Mastermind" game. One person is a host, and choose the number of choices and colors. Another person plays, and tries to guess the combination.
+ Hotdog Battle - Another classic "Battleship" type game. For 2 players, you both choose where to position your hot dogs. When 2 people have joined, you boht take turns trying to hit the other person's dogs. The aim is to splatter all of your opponent's hot dogs, before they splatter yours.
Admins, to enable these games, click on "BbGames" in your admin center.
+ Forum Default
Admins, you now have the ability to choose a set of default options for when you create a new forum. Click on "Edit Forums", then "Edit Default Forum Settings" in your admin center, and enter the default values you wish to use. When you next create a forum, these values will be automatically entered for you.
+ Signature Preview
You can now preview when you create a new signature. Check the "Preview?" box to see the preview.
+ User List Info
Admins, you have a new button in your "Edit Users" screen - "Enhanced Mode". Click it to see more information on the users in your user list, all at once.
+ PM Inbox Improvements
There are now checkboxes to multi-delete PMs in your Inbox/Outbox, so you can delete more than one at once.
You can also choose to have "Persistent" PM notices. IF you usually miss the "You have a new PM" alert box, you can enable the "Persistent PM Notice" in your User CP settings. This will make it keep popping up until you visit your PM Inbox.
+ InfoBar Options
Admins, you can now choose to move the InfoBar to the top of the screen, as well as disable the left portion of the InfoBar. Click on "Edit Board Settings" in your admin center for these options.
+ Avatar Gallery
We now have a gallery of hosted avatars that you can use as you like. Click here to browse.
+ Minor Enhancements
+ You can no longer ignore yourself.
+ Attachments "re-appearing" bug fixed. Note that if you've recently moved/deleted any threads, there may be some still re-appearing for a while, just delete the attachment from the "Mod Options" menu.
+ You now receive an alert box when someone requests to add you to their buddy list.
+ The < and > links in threads now take you to the physical next/previous threads rather than numeric.
+ You now have the option of deleting a request to a buddy.
+ You have the option between receiving HTML and plain text emails (new thread notifications, reply notifications, welcome emails, etc)
