We have been locking threads on Support due to the overwhelming presence of spammers. We're doing everything we can, banning IP#'s that spam and more to combat this problem on our Network. We hope you understand that we feel it is necessary to lock Tech Support threads once they've been resolved or not responded to and been hit twice or more by the spammers.
This is because many people subscribe to Tech Support Threads they post here so they are alerted when one of us responds. This can be a problem if a series of spammers hits the thread the original poster subscribed to, so the locking of threads is the only way to go. We apologize for the inconvenience but feel that this is the only way to deal with this nusciance.
The Tech Support Forum is still open to Guest posting so have no fear, that hasn't changed, should you lose access to your account and need to reach us quickly for help you still can. Otherwise a PM to me is just as good at resolving most problems as posting a Tech Support Thread. So it's your choice, a PM or a Tech Support Thread, but either way we're still committed to helping you resolve any problems you might encounter using the BbBoard software.
