I have a news fader on my Message Board.

However in the Mozilla browser the text from the news does not appear. The space that the new fader should be present at is there, just no news items are appearing.

It works fine in Internet Explorer.

Just thought I should let you know.

Thank you for the compliment on the system we've created here. :wink:

Improving it all the time too so this might be something we can fix in the next release or it might not. Have to talk to BbBoy and see what he finds. What version of Mozilla were you using? :smile:

Unfortunately this is a feature that only works in IE. :sad:

Sorry that it can't be made to be compatable with NS or Mozilla. Some things are just not able to work in all browsers. :ohwell:

I have the same Problem except I am on IE and I use to be able to see it because I did Mandee's (news fader) when she still had her board and seen it fine. I can also see it on other people's boards just not mine. I don't think my site likes me much :rotflmao:

Isn't Mozilla part of IE and some programs might get them confused?
Because I've gone onto sites that have said that I have the mozilla browser and I don't :smile:

I think the word "mozilla" is often used generically in the same way as "Electrolux" and "Hoover" have become synonymous with vacuum cleaners. Browsers are often identified in the same way, because they use the mozilla codebase or a variant thereof. :smile:

The reason your fader doesn't work is because you've entered html code in there, instead of BbCode. :smile:

It probably didn't work due to a missing ] or something meridian. Do you still have the bbcode version? There is a awful lot of HTML in there and BbCodes can do almost anything HTML can but there are limits to it...Post the BbCode version and we can take a look at it. :smile:

I just went ahead and took it out :smile:

I moved all the stuff to inside the second table and left it as that.
But thank you for offering to help. You guys are so wonderful!
